I had a June 4 allocation and was forced to remove the gloss black aerokit before my build could lock. Once removed and re-submitted, the build locked 3 days later on Sept 12th now scheduled for production 2nd week of October

Hummm....Similar timeline to mine. As I stated previously, my Aerokit locked on Sept 9th. Build now scheduled (after a couple delays) for the same week as yours. Aerokit still approved on my build as of now. Maybe an issue with the gloss black? Did you try to add the aerokit after July 1st?

Nope. Worst part is the TYD pic of my cars still shows the gloss black AK on it just to taunt me lol.
My SA thinks, and it is just a theory, that AK's might have been prioritized for higher volume dealers as he can't explain it at all. Who knows
I don’t believe it is. This isn’t the first time Porsche has done a stop-sale on an option or paint color. I think this is the third stop-sale on the AeroKit that I know of.
UPDATE: Seems aerokit back to sale again. allocation 11/09, 11/30 freeze point. 12/25 production. 03/11 arrival. SA said no problem with aerokit so far
Purchased in CA at MSRP.
