That’s why I mentioned changing the decklid slats/engine cover in the post you quoted.

So does this mean there’s no hope for a 2022 911 with an aerokit, like at all? ☹️

No, I think just an 8 week delay as was posted earlier.

That’s how it starts…….until it’s longer than 8 weeks. Last year AeroKit availability seemed to be spotty. I would be surprised if it’s just 8 weeks, especially considering the factory will be shut down in August. Suncoast said the factory is so far behind on the manufacturing of AeroKit parts.

I am aware. I’m hoping mine somehow slips through the cracks and makes the cut.

C2S Freeze successfully reached with Aerokit! This has been anything but a typical car buying experience to date.

Started out looking at a 21, but SA indicated it was unlikely the Aerokit would be available just missed the cut off. Was unsure whether to proceed or wait for a 22. Didn’t have to make that decision as the 21 allocation was lost the day after I was finally able to do a test drive. After some dealer allocation shenanigans, another AK supply issue seems I just got in under the wire this time.

Best of luck to everyone else navigating a purchase during these crazy times!

Yes, because you had your allocation before 7/1/2021…..evident by your freeze date. Lucky!

Good to see locks with AK being successful. Congrats for those that made it to this milestone! For me, similar story. ‘21 allocation given up due to AK Stop Sale. Secured a ‘22 allocation with 7/19 lock, but now the lock pushed to 9/13. Keeping my fingers crossed I can get through it with the AK!

My 2022 has an aero kit and has been produced and shipped, but I pushed from 2021 to 2022 to make sure I got the AK.

You should be fine. Your allocation was probably a May allocation. Good luck! I just took a later allocation in hopes of getting the AK. I found out today it was removed from my early allocation, so now my delivery date was moved to 2/2022.
