I was on RCC classic and it still shows at the port, called my SA and he said what TYD says 6/11 it was a very short reply which I was a bit annoyed with TBH, thought he would have more to say

My condolences to each of you experiencing TPMS/etc. delays. I somehow managed to side step that debacle (through total luck). Definitely feeling red in the face because I remember several weeks ago when the TPMS sensor issue first started to break, I posted somewhere on these boards that I was "skeptical" of the issue. Genius call on my part...
My sincere hopes are with each of you that you get your cars asap.

You are pretty much correct in that the sensors are located in the wheels as needmoregarage stated. They do transmit a signal to a central control unit which well could be the issue. TPMS sensors are the most common form of tire pressure sensing but there are some cars out there that do not use a sensor in the wheel. Their system works off of the ABS, simplifying the process the car is able to calculate the circumference of the wheel and tire via the number of rotations of the wheel. It gets this info from the ABS sensor on the hub, if the tire pressure changes, goes down or up, then the overall circumference has changed and it gives a warning light on the dash.

Update- My C2S which was on Viking Queen and has been held in port since May 12 was picked up by a truck this morning and should be here tomorrow. Sales manager said I can take delivery Tuesday. Service is closed Sun/Mon due to long holiday. Good news is I can drive out and see it tomorrow.
Good luck to all whose cars are being held due to the TPMS thing. My ETA was June 11th so I will be getting it about 10 days early. and TYD has not updated anything since May 12. LOL

Production finished late April, shipped on Siem Confucius and arrived at the Port of Baltimore 5/21. Delivery date changed today 5/29, from 5/28 yesterday, which was estimated; to 6/11 which is estimated. Interesting!

SA told me today cars should shipping out of port after this holiday weekend (Rcc Classic deliveries)....which is pretty close to the dealer delivery date per TYD of 6-4. I was hoping I’d have the car in time for this holiday weekend and put on some break in miles.
Oh well.
