Now, getting the car built and shipped is another story. Also, whether there are less frequent ships leaving Emden, I have no idea.

Thx. Appreciate the Intel.

I realize some do. My lock date was 156 days from my allocation date in the beginning. I’m in So.Cal.

My SA followed up with me several days ago regarding their allocations for the fourth quarter. My local dealer received no C2 or C2S variants of any kind during the allocation drop first week of November. They received one GTS, a GTS cab and a Turbo S, and that is it for the entire fourth quarter. Demand is definitely high as they have a waiting list of over 20 customers for a C2S, but allocations from PAG are also way down. PCNA rep told our GM that no dealers in his region received any 992 base or S variants of any kind for the fourth quarter. It sounds like there will not be anything further until February.

I think you may be an exception to the rule, as that is a long time between allocation and lock date. Did you do PTS or have a special/custom options?

No PTS, and the only CXX parts that caused a recent 20 day delay were the leather door sills with deviated stitching. Maybe it’s a west coast thing. I have many friends that had a fairly significant wait time from allocation to lock.
