I think all dealers received allocations yesterday....
Are we sure all dealers received slots? I knew a few have, as allocations have been offered to me, but I've heard from a few others who are still expecting allocations to come through... has any one on here spoken to their dealership who has confirmed they haven't received slots yet but are on track to receive some later this week?

Texted today on dealer that I have been on waiting list since May 2021, and they told me they got allocations on some models, but not even one 911 Carrera S - which iam on list for.
My local dealer was expecting allocations yesterday but didn’t get anything. I’m first in line for a 992 C2S and have been waiting since May. My SA said they only got one Cayenne in October and only a single 992 since July.
I have a long relationship with this dealer so I’m holding tight. My configuration is all set and in the meantime I’ll keep enjoying my 2017 991.2.

Connected with my dealer and heard the same thing.

I waited 10 months before my ship finally came in (April 2021) carrying my 992S. It was a 4 month wait after I “locked” my order. Ultimately, it was well worth the wait.
PS - I learned NOT to believe any of the initially promised dates from my dealership.
I'm first in line with deposit down on one at MSRP. My dealer only received GTS, GT3, and Turbo S allocations this time around. They are expecting more allocations in Jan. so they say. I just hoped to find an allocation elsewhere but 30K over MSRP.....geez
It’ll likely be much time than that before MSRP will be a reality in most places. These days, 5-10k over MSRP is the norm.
That's not 100% true. There are dealers out there still doing MSRP - I'm third in line for a C2 allocation at MSRP. I'm optimistic that some of this ADM nonsense will settle down soon enough, you already see it happening in other markets, like the C8. That market has shifted to no ADM and deliveries in 2 months and I take that as a sign to be optimistic.

There is no such thing as an absolute.. So you are correct, not every (ie, 100%) dealership is asking above MSRP. Although with that said, several of the Porsche dealerships near me, are still asking above MSRP. Just last week, my SA came up to me and asked if I wanted to sell my ‘21 992S back, and they would give me $30K above what I paid (although when I took delivery in April 2021, I got a 6% discount…and haven’t heard of any dealership doing any discounts right now). Point being - If my dealership was willing to pay me $30K above what I paid (even with my discount of about $10K off MSRP), for a used Porsche with 2K miles on it…I think it’s pretty certain they will ask above MSRP when they go to re-sell….that is, if i were that crazy to sell it back to them?
So, as long as there is a dearth in inventory, and a long line of prospective buyers, there will be more than a few dealerships asking more than MSRP.

I emailed my SA and he told me he would have more info by the end of the week. So it looks like there is more allocation news to come from the big P in the next couple of days here.
Every dealer I have talked to got allocations on Monday. Not a huge n (5), but spread across midwest, northeast, and mid-Atlantic. I'd be surprised if Porsche actually released allocations to dealers on different dates, though it is possible. My guess is in situations where dealers are telling clients they will have news soon is that: 1) they are horse-trading allocations with other dealers so they don't have a final list, and/or 2) they are working down lists and don't want to tell folks that since with ADMs, hit rates are lower than they otherwise would be.
