Missed being able to view the Autoblog link in time but pretty sure the embargo ends in 30 mins and somebody had just programmed the publish time incorrectly at AB (or then somebody's fingers were just slipping...)
Did they explain how the added 30hp was achieved?
Interesting sounding package, bigger brakes and the improvements in the looks are always nice. In our country though, unfortunately, the added taxes based on the car's CO2 values usually take away the benefits achieved from bundling options as they also bundle extra $ in the base price...

So it has the TT brakes. Will it have the 10-piston ceramic brake option as well?
Will the GTS have foldable buckets & rear seat??

Ok. Stay with me here. Things are going to get complex. Ready ?
Imagine a gear lever, that’s been shortened.
Yes. They shortened all of the gears ⚙️ by 10mm.

"The interior insulation has been reduced, which enhances the emotive driving acoustics" = it's a lot noisier?
Probably not getting it but what's the appeal of this model? An 30 extra hp is very little over an S which can still hit 60 in around 3 seconds with Chrono. (And a tune could easily overcome that difference) Unless totally stripped down, $138K plus options, is approaching Turbo territory.. so why not just get a Turbo? ..and if you want the hardcore race track feel, reduced insulation, lightweight emphasis, bucket seats, and all, get a GT3?

For those unable to secure a new GT3 build, this GTS seems like a great solution.

Less sound deadening doesn't sound good to me. There's already a slight excess of tire noise in all 992s, which could be reduced instead to enable the engine sounds to come through better. This is going to the wrong direction IMO...but I can see what they're trying to achieve with it.
All in all, GTS still remains the ultimate Carrera that I very well might end up getting at some point, unless I decide to go all the way to the Turbo range. (Just waiting for the dreadful car taxes to come down a bit, which are almost 50 % of the new car's price here with Turbo S MSRP at 465 k$ without a single option. I don't like the government that much... ) GT3T would be definitely the choice no 1 and while I could get an allocation, I can't justify acquiring it for practical reasons at the moment, as I love using my 911 as a daily and the missing backseat would just render it impossible...

It sounds ALOT better than the regular 992's. ALMOST as good as the 991.1. Very impressed.
