You can probably order it with 5 lugs.

Pictures show it with the Spyder wheels (5 lug) in black, along with the Turbo S CL wheels in black.

Apparently, Autoblog broke the embargo, because no one else is reporting it and the page is now down.

sticker for a base RWD coupe is $138k..... spec'd out the way I would want it with PCCB, LWB's, metallic paint, Bose, SPASM, Leather, ducktail, etc the car would have a 180k+ sticker, LOL. Add sales tax and PPF and i'm over $200k. Nope.

If it is that much, I'd order a 992 Turbo or S.

I agree. I had my Targa 4S build at around $180k. A Turbo S allocation opened up and my dealer offered it to me. Grabbed it without hesitation.

Looks like:
- +30HP, 30 lbs ft
- Short shift kit
- SPASM and additional suspension from Turbo (not sure what the upgrades are there)
- PSE
- Brakes from Turbo
- Sport Design Kit
- Center Locks
- Bunch of Alcantara and satin black bits

Good deal if you were going to spec some of the bigger ticket items on an S anyway which I suppose is the GTS value prop

I have a C2S allocation Sept build Nov delivery. Wondering if it's worth waiting for this but the new Canadian luxury tax (Jan 1, 2022) takes some of the value away...

Wait...so no bespoke NA 4.0 motor or "detuned Turbo motor"? 😁

Option to spec Turbo PCCBs is an interesting development. They put in Turbo helper springs, which is a random choice. Short shifter sounds nice.

$138k for PSE, SPASM and PSE + 30HP is not a bad deal. A C2S with PSE/SPASM/PSE is ~$134k and doesn't have the aesthetic touches or extra grunt.

As always - the GTS is a good value options package on the C2S -- a nice option if you can get one, but not something I'd trade a C2S in to get. And of course, the inevitable ADM would negate that advantage anyway.

It sounds like the shift lever is a half inch (10 mm) shorter. I can’t imagine that makes much difference. The larger brakes are nice!

From that article, what does shortened the "gear lever" mean?

The gearing, or gear lever??
