My friend is seriously looking into trading his GT3 for a T or S. He traded in his S MT for the GT3 MT and regrets it for driving on the streets. He can afford a lot more than the GT3. Ha, he didn’t even PPF it…not concerned with resale $. After driving his GT3, I totally understand. I’m sure you’ll love ur T!

You guys are funny. He recently told me he took it to the dealer he bought it from. They’re offering minimum $250K (depending on what he does exactly) for trading and buying another 911. It only has 1,500 miles. It’s a year old. He also has 7 other cars so reason for low miles as well as not being thrilled driving it on the streets. He paid $225K (it’s got 40K options…he showed me sticker. If I recall correctly, car was $160K + $40K options. I remember seeing $199K total sticker). new so making a profit anyway.

I am new to the forum and it is the first time I have done such a thing. Not sure how to work this site ?
Based in the UK I have been reading post form UK residents. My car is supposedly in production V260 from the 20/06/23 due to be completed 21/07/23.
Because my order was jumped up due to cancellation I have no ability to track my dream, just relying on the OPC info for now.
Can I ask are the Vin numbers supposed to be consecutive as they would appear to be rather random, I have been give mine which appears to be lower than a UK car already delivered.
My car is definitely MY 2024 shown onthe dealer print out, so MY2024 must have started from 19/20th June?

I am loving hearing that folks have traded the GT3 experience for the sanity of a T. I sold my 991.2 GT3 three months ago to a fellow rennlister and I know he's thrilled with it. I am 6 weeks away from PECATL delivery of the T and looking forward to the rewards of a slightly more civilized ride, a better sound system, and less (Cup 2) tire noise as well as three season traction. I certainly miss the engine that sings to 9000 RPM and the attendant drama (as well as the near perfect manual transmission) but for my use the rationale of the T makes more sense. And for days when the wild hair must be obeyed, the 6GT3 is more than adequate.

This is my favourite angle of the car. I am so happy that I received it just in time for my hols that I could poop in my pant!

Put 400 miles on the board yesterday, it was a great day. Zero regrets from the S to the T—everything feels great.
Ordered some wheel spacers, and gt3 side skirts, and now I’m just waiting for break-in to be done before I install the valve controller.

Went out for a drive this afternoon - up to and around Lake Geneva WI and broke 1111 miles as I crossed into WI. I would have taken a photo but I was driving...
Anybody (in the US at least) try the Roads app? It appears to be an official Porsche app and is supposed to help find fun and interesting roads to drive... I was going to use it this afternoon, but apparently you can't use it if CarPlay is connected and, well I was too impatient to go for a drive than I was to force CarPlay to disconnect so I could use the app...

Thanks. My Vin ends 200014 which seems to be earlier than yours? But mine is manufactured way later.
This is my first 911 for over 50 years last was a factory collection in 1970.
My spec is Ice Grey Metallic MT couldn't make my mind up on RAS but eventually decided against even though Andrew Frankel (Motor Sport & Autocar) and Stuart Gallagher (Evo) swore by it! Dropped Power steering Plus Kept FAL included Exclusive tail lights, Sports Design Side Skirts and front spoiler in exterior colour, 4 way ventilated seats, interior trim package in exterior colour (maybe a mistake ? WAIT AND see), also stitching in GT Silver with seat belts in silver grey, rev counter and chrono in white. Hopefully this will brighten the interior. Incidentally I am a little older than Barkat03 but had my first 911 just a bit older than Vernin.
Hopefully end August / early September delivery. Now perhaps oldest on the "T" forum?
