I try not to worry too much on the resale side... and I think that just a colored seatbelt shouldn't throw people off too much (unlike color matched everything and wacky colored dial variations etc)... Yellow belts with the bucket seats will give it that race car feel, and the ruby I think is going to be stunning on this car, cant wait to see it in person...
For a long time I was going to do red belts... but most of the guys on here talked me into the Ruby/race yellow combo, and I agree now

18 ways add a fair amount of weight. I don't have the direct figure handy, but I think it's something in the realm of 50 pounds? Or was it 50 per seat? If you're selecting the T as a lightweight base manual Carrera, adding 18 ways seems counter-intuitive. Of course, seat comfort is vital.
Wrong, see post below

My own selection will be 4 way sport plus
- Don't need memory (only driver)
- Forward/Backward + tilt controlled by levers, rather than motors (dog)
- Weight

Per https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8087...l#post11271887,

18 Way / Adaptive Sport Seats 128.0 lbs. total
4 Way / Regular Sport Seats 97.2 lbs. total
Full Bucket Seats 45.8 lbs. total

You won't notice the 31 lb difference between the 4 Ways and 18 Ways. Get what fits you best, IMO.

wow! Now the question is: Did Porsche save 100lbs in the 911T with the 4 ways or was that measurement taken with the optional LWB's?

I don't think so - it will have a back up camera already.

The 45.8 lbs you quoted are for the old CGT bucket seats. The new LWBs weigh 78 lbs IIRC.

Nice! Were you part of the initial batch of 9 allocations nationwide from a few weeks ago, or did your allocation just come in today?

My understanding of the post I linked is that the hard shell, non-folding CGT bucket seats are 45.8 lbs and the clamshell, folding GT2 bucket seats are 67 lbs. How did the current Full Bucket Seats climb to 78 lbs if they aren't folding/reclining?
