I agree with the 911 rear badge and delete with the "if you know, you know" mentality. The grey mirror caps will be a tell tale sign to the real enthusiast and to everyone else it'll just be another 911

Current config I am contemplating: http://www.porsche-code.com/PPL9YKS7
Looks like you are going PDK, Adding Rear Seats back in, bigger fuel tank etc... Did you play around with numbers to see if you could get a build out of a Base Carrera at a lower price point but ticked all the boxes you wanted? Or are there other things about the T you liked?

Bigger fuel tank comes in clutch during track days or long road trips. I suspect it's like the 718 where it's the same tank and the standard tank just has a baffle inside to limit capacity so if you wanted, just don't fill all the way up and it's just like the standard tank and you have the option for extra capacity when you need it

Deleting. Will make it a 911 badge but might try to mount a vintage 911T badge to match my '72T.

Cool, but just curious... Why did you land on the T vs. Base 911?

Must haves for me was PTV and RAS which are not available on base 911 although if push comes to shove, I would get a base and be happy still. I also think that T is a more 'special' or unique model. I prefer to get bordeaux interior which if going for Base is a plus, but would still lack PTV/RAS.
And the 911S with ADM is just not doable for me.
PDK cuz it's a requirement for the mrs haha.

Agreed, for me biggest draw of the T over the base is getting the locking diff and PTV plus RAS with the rest of the sport package goodies. Manual option is great too but I haven't ruled out PDK myself, from what I've experienced it's a very impressive transmission especially on track. The shop I take my C63 to posted an IG story of them replacing the braun pdk shifter with the nicer one from the GT3 so that's an option I've had in the back of my head.

As for decals and lettering, on my CGTS 4.0 I was unsure about the GTS 4.0 on the doors so I ordered it without, had the entire car PPF and then decided the doors were too plain and put OEM decals on over the PPF. In the end, I would have preferred factory decals and PPF over it for ease of cleaning. And being that it's a somewhat limited car, the 4.0, it's nice to give the shout out for the casual car show spectators. It really helps them. lol.
I'm always a rear bumper emblem delete kinda guy. I like the clean look and REALLY like to be able to clean the bumper dust easily. And again, I knew I was PPF'ing the entire car so they were going to come off anyway. The same will be true for my 911T.

Burning Brakes
Brave choice, but IMHO I would be careful mixing ruby red with yellow, it does not really match as ruby is more of a raspberry shade, and thus will likely be harder to sell on resale.

If you are at all concerned with lumbar support or comfort adjustment, Then option the 18-way seats... this is a tough one to provide guidance on though... you really need to go sit in them and let your butt/back decide. I am a thin guy with no back issues, so I could live with non-adjustable seats... but thats just me.
