I get it. Everyone has different wants, budget and tolerance levels. Wasn’t going for perfection and almost front half was PPFd so no paint to worry about. I was exaggerating on the prep work. It wasn’t too bad. Ha, I think cleaning the inside of the wheels was the biggest pain. I even thought about PPFing myself since I did tint in my younger days. But my guy gave me family pricing so why not.

Sadly, we are still not an autonomous tribe. Don’t we have a doctor? I would be surprised.

Thanks. Well, was able to finally test drive a GT4. It’s definitely cool, but I’m now 100% glad of my T decision. All of my car industry buds kept saying get a 992 MT T and I know why now! They would break down the intricacies of the engineering that went into everything…results are no accident. For me, having had bigger cars it really feels like a go cart to me. The body lines on the T is clean so not sure if I’ll do anything to the body (not 100% yet). I actually liked the GT4 wing…all existing T wings not my style. Ha, I know someone that could design me a 1of1. The audio 100% is getting upgraded and I’m leaning towards an exhaust but want to drive it around more with PSE first. Other than that, it’s exactly as I hoped. I haven’t really tested the brakes yet, since I’m so used to downshifting and braking from my past sports cars. Only difference, T is so much easier to drive. Gearbox is getting butterier as the day passes. Glad to hear pics helped u with the waiting pain. U R almost there! I’m sure you’ll love it.

For me, it came down to two things:

1. I wanted the 911 rear bias
2. The 911 is the better road car

I have little interest in the other Carrera variants. I have a deposit on a GT3 Touring that I would trade the T for but will wait and see as the T may very well be the better car for my intended use and preferences.

@Pivot and anyone else getting their car ceramic coated: whether you do it yourself or you get a shop to do it, the only thing that matters is the % content of Silicon Dioxide (SiO2). SiO2 is very expensive so cheap products will have none or just enough to claim it has it. If you want quality product, look for high concentration. However, good product is very expensive.

@Wilder thanks for the intel!

Ceramic coating of my previous P car was over £700, so it makes sense.
The Amazon listed product claims 80% of SiO2. Ali is referencing Graphene, so probably diff compounds with vaguely related name.
