Everyone should own one black car in their lifetime. 2 might be pushing it.
Had a black C63 AMG back in 2009. It was already dirty while drying up after getting a hand wash.
Also, 255 rear tires and 600 Nm (440 lb ft) torque...yeah, fun times.
@NewTo911’s - Me too as I think I've ordered pretty much the same car as you based on your profile picture - June delivery through Guildford for me.
Lot's of pics please when it arrives - when is it due at the dealers?
I switched to Shark Blue from Guards Red at the last minute. Had a Shark GT4 before and loved it.
Anticipation is driving me crazy!
cheers
Craig
Hey Craig,
I see we have 3 992T’s on this forum, delivered by OPC Guildford:
1. Lord Barkat pulled rank and got the first vehicle allocation
2. Pivot - my vehicle is built and awaiting transport from Emden - estimated delivery in May
3. MrCraigCharlton - to be delivered in June
Once we have our vehicles we should get together 😎
What a beauty she is! Just wooow! Can’t wait to see your interior pics @Scott P . Congrats!

You should put Michelins under your T and see what happens then.
Ha, fair. I'd like to think my car history would be much more colourful if I lived somewhere sunny.
Just can't pull off a signal yellow in Surrey 😂. Wish I could though, what a car that would be
Sure you could! There really is NO bad color on a 911….well, very, very few anyway. Signal Yellow on a Land Rover - not so much. On a 911 cab? Absolutely!
I think this is one of the nicest angles of the 992. Just love making pictures like these all the time. Love the GT silver with the silver end pipes and executive lights. Brilliant combo. Jus don’t understand why Scott is making it so hard for us without interior pics. That combo with green will makes this car one of the best combos.
AFTERMARKET SOUND SYSTEM UPGRADE.....
If you've got a few bucks to spare for an aftermarket sound system even YOU could install, this might be it....
Be quick they're only producing 911 of them!

Very interesting… are you doing it, Barkat?
I do plan to swap the speakers for a better set, but I am told one has to apply some sound deadening adhesive pads to the door external metal panels to avoid resonance.
Another brief T update @ 500 miles. I've added a few mods and driven a few more miles. Bad weather and work has kept the garge door closed and camera stowed. Added the GT3 rockers. They go well with the car but, do absolutley nothing to prevent rocks hitting the hips which was my main goal in adding them. The basic rocker panels look as good and in some ways better. On another note, when pulling the original rockers off afer 300 miles there were tons of small pebbles inside them, this may become a maintence item! The GT3 rockers collect dirt on top! Now adding extra PPF to the front and flanks. Also added the Zunsport grills. These look really nice and fix the gaping hole look behind the active aero flaps.. Hopefully they reduce rocks and debris from hitting / accumulating in front of the radiators. They will definitly stop larger items and maybe deflect heavy ones to prevent radiator damage. Last but not least, glad for the extended range tank. So far mileage has been poor even under 4K rpms. Maybe break in settings? Reached 380 miles on 20 gallons, Expected a bit more given the light throttle. The GT3 / GTS lite idea really fits this car. It is loud, rough rding and connected. Everything I was looking for. Cant wait to hit 1800 miles and be able to lean on it some.

Any pics with the GT3 skirts? I have a set waiting in my garage.

I had a black 91 Mustang bought new (I was 21). Swore I would NEVER own another black vehicle again. Move forward to 2006 and my first 911, a Midnight Blue 993 (dearly missed). Almost as bad as black for showing dust, dirt, and swirls. Reminded myself of my experience with the black Mustang and told self again: NEVER OWN ANOTHER BLACK CAR! Fall of 2008 after 7 months with a beautiful Guards Red 996.2 (I still owned the 993), I decided to trade it for a second 993 that had became available.......a 97 in you guessed it......black. I owned that car until last summer and swore up and down I would NEVER own another black car.
Current car: Jet Black Metallic 991.2 T
Strongest contender for new T: Jet Black Metallic.
My mother says I'm smart. She also says I'm handsome. I think she may be delusional......

Im gonna check out some reviews and if possible try to listen to them.
It’s a lot to spend on a sound system I’ve heard heard.

🤣 I’ve got a black ford truck, a black 993 and a black 986. I’m a glutton for punishment.
