At least that's the story I'm being spun
I’ll certainly do! So sorry to hear that, well in german there is a world Vorfreude which can be translated as joyful anticipation

It’s a rainy day here in Switzerland as it was when I picked up my yellow 718 a few years ago.
I’m excited like a child on the Christmas Eve..
More pictures will follow 😎

Thank you - At least you are not feeling another German word for which there was no English equivalent, so we adopted it.....Schadenfreude!!

Like a few others recently posted, my delayed production completion status is now over and it’s off to the port. It was listed as a delay of almost a month but in reality was less than half that. My due date only moved back a week in total.

AMAZING!!! Not sure how it took me until this morning to see that you posted this, but thank you! I cant wait to do the same ED in Leipzig with basically the same car... I am thrilled for you

Exciting times! It will be nice to see more and more cars delivered to their owners. PICS or ban.

Gives me hope as my build and then delay has followed your build by a few days. Hoping my 25 day delay gets cut in half.

WHAT’S GOOD
No ADM
No prev purchase history
First come first serve
5k deposit - balance on collection
Excellent customer service
Track day exp with meals, instructors (try any model)

WHAT’S BAD
Absolutely no chance of any discount
Pressure to buy options
The one thing I forgot to add is that there is zero pressure to buy options, so effectively, there are two downsides here: no discounts and large upfront payments. I'm okay on both accounts even if it seems onerous. I gave them $5k in November and another $35k in January for the T which I won't get until June. I have $5k deposits on other cars as well. Feels like I'm financing their operation but this is their MO across the board.

My dealer just wanted a 3k dollar deposit. Nothing else and no pressure to buy any options. I pressured myself to buy all the leather and Carbon fiber goodie’s.
