That's a major screw up! I'd demand 50% off MSRP. I mean, after all, it's only good for Post Office duty now.
As for the exhaust button, I ordered the chrome tips to make sure I got the button. But I'm not sure why. LOL I was on the fence between black and chrome tops. And I was also on the fence between needing a dedicated button or not, although I do love that image on a button on the car. Oh well, either way is fine. I've spent more than that on mediocre meals before.

Are you in direct contact with Joey from Porsche NA (Delivery Programs Manager) regarding getting an ED date? What your dealer told you earlier is... wrong. Leipzig hasn't even released Sept dates yet so you ought to have a shot at getting one. Apparently they release ED dates roughly five months ahead of time. For instance, Joey didn't get July Leipzig dates until sometime between 2/1 - 2/3; unfortunately he only got 10 dates for July (he had somehow known they'd be very limited for July). And he was expecting to receive August Leipzig dates around 3/1 but in fact only got a partial cache of them just yesterday. So if you stay in contact with him, maybe you have a shot at a Sept Leipzig date which may be released sometime in early April.
The earliest would be on our October pre-reservation list.

I had an original dealer delivery date of 3/31, then 4/14, today it just changed to 5/4. My manufacturing start date was 3/6 and I received all three pictures last week, with a completion date listed as 3/14. Now the completion date says 4/5. Anyone else seeing a moving target?

Yup. I've interacted with Joey directly and my SA has also forwarded me e-mails from their discussions. Joey is also who requested that the fire extinguisher be removed from my build...so that's gone on my order now as well. Joey says the soonest for me is October. Direct from Joey:
