$170k and no carbon ceramics. Burmeister, FAL, rear wheel steering, LED matrix headlights, lots of leather. Someone must have backed out on this order.
Right! That MSRP is a nicely optioned S/4S. May be able to even find a used GTS in the near future for that price.
Thank you! Congrats to you! How did you spec it? Also, do you think they are discontinuing for 2024?
Specced a little heavier than most I think…. Gentian, MT, FAL and RAS, mucho leather, Bose, 18 ways, CF roof. I’ve read buy it like it’s your last and hope it’s not a few times, so…
No clue on when things change to the 992.2 but had thought it was second half of 24. I’m the last guy that would know though.
Smooth is fast! Great lines. Don't worry about faster cars or drivers at all for now. Just focus on you and what you want to accomplish. There will always be someone driving a faster car slower or slower car faster. And what was going on at about 8 minutes in with that car. Eek, very confusing and the kind of stuff shouldn't be happening where you have something very unpredictable happening like that. Scary to be honest...did you nail ABS when that happened?
I tried to like the video of you driving! Love that color! I just put my order in last night. Looking at a July/August delivery. Yet here I am, still going over options lmaooo.
ooooooooooo please send me your build I would love to see it! And thank you kindly It means a lot, I love Ruby Star Neo and I would love to see more people with it(please get it hahaha)
Nice laps, looks like a fast course. How Did the stock brakes hold up or did you have race pads?
I had stock pads, I did only 2 days and my stock pads went from 75 to 44 percent in 2 days so I would recommend going to race pads, especially for brake intensive tracks like this. I had racing brake fluid in, and probably should have put race brake pads in but
for me and my first time tracking my 911 and second track weekend actually driving, thought I would be fine with stock pads.
if you are cooling the brakes after driving and wait between sessions, and driving a track with more miles and less hair pins and hard turns then stock should get you through a weekend.

yes I did I was actually supper surprised when the white RS slammed on his brakes, I was following not to close, but he went from about 80 mph to about 20 in a few seconds, I was going about 100 in third gear when he slammed on his brakes suddenly. Unfortunately I think he forgot where he was on the track, it’s w very confusing track so I cannot hold it against him. It was the 3rd weekend I had seen the track and I had ridden with my Dad a few times on the track so I knew it a bit better then any new driver aught to have. Then he went around the turn accelerating and almost lost the rear end then braked as hard almost to a stop again ahahaha very scary stuff and unfortunately a new new driver, but we all start somewhere and I hope he gets better and is able to utilize the nice car he has
your kind words are much appreciated and I will take that to heart. I could have tried to drive 10/10ths but I was driving a fairly unknown track, unfamiliar car, and had not driven on a track hard since 2021, so 3 years or so. That is why the lead follow I did with my dad as so helpful, I could see his line in his 996 GT3 and then 991 GT3RS. I could then blend the lines he took to creat my own line that worked for my car and was not too much for it or too little. (I could only drive about 50% as fast as the RS) meaning as fast as I could go was only 50% for my dad. He was probably twiddling his thumbs and falling sleep leading me around while I was trying to stay on the track hahahaha

That's my statement... "Spec it like it's your last 911, but hope that there are many more in the future... Go Big or Go Home!"
On my YouTube tonight I will post the lead follow from the second day I did in the morning with my dad and his RS. Then I will also post him driving my car at about 80% if it’s max capabilities, which is pretty good. Then if any one wants it I will post his driving pov of his RS
I did it and love it! When sitting in the cabin, the dash trim almost lines right up with the mirrors… like it comes in, across and back out. On lighter colors I think it brings the inside and out together. My initial fear was that it’d be gawdy or over the top but in person it’s one of my favorite choices. I never cared for it in photos or in older 911’s but in 992 I dig it.
