I had a very vivid dream last night that we all took delivery on 11/2. I’m sticking to that improbability!

You folks from Chicago do realize, if there is any TV footage of someone carrying a Big Screen Television or a Washing Machine out to their Porsche, in the middle of a riot, you guys are toast!

Fact is I saw 'people' of all races/colors (though certainly not in same proportions) destroying/defacing/burning storefronts and pillaging like I have never seen in my life, it was INSANE! I even saw a Ronald McDonald house getting attacked on MY block! BTW, these places house critically ill/sick children/families. Healthcare workers trying to save people's lives were not coming to hospitals out of fear for what was going on. Grocery stores\drugstores where we shop for necessities were destroyed and shut down. Etc.

As for applicability to Porsche their nearest dealer to the city closed down and were rapidly moving cars off lot to secure them.

So yeah I'm concerned for a lot of things now, sorry.

Seems like @gohawks23 raises fear on rioting quite often in these 992 threads. Dude, this a thread about Porsche's .... It would be nice to get away from all fear mongering on both sides. The left is scared of the Proud Boys if Trump looses and the right is scared of ....the scary left... if Biden wins.. Geez

I'll take responsibility for the topic diversion, that's on me. While I thought my comment was relatively benign and neutral, and I may share some concern already voiced above, this forum is a bit of an escape from the realties of the world we live in and we should probably try and keep it that way. I do however share the fear that politics could affect delivery for some of us, mainly citing lockdowns/closures, but at the end of the day that's speculation at best.

Regardless, let's all just hope that no matter what happens, in a few days we can all take cruises in our newly delivered 992's as an escape from this craziness.
