11/6 is still no certainty, just a hopeful CARB approval date. We are now in the position of watching our release date slide month-to-month. Thank you Porsche, your incompetence depresses me.

I prepared my SA with the fact that if it pushes past November into December i may cancel.

EPA just posted their October listing of certified vehicles. Porsche is notable by their complete absence. It does seem as though every other manufacturer and all of their models ARE present. CARB has yet to update their on-line file . . . . so I guess we'll see. I'm rather surprised that none of the business press (WSJ, Forbes, etc.) or any of the buff magazines (Car & Driver, R&T, etc.) have seen fit to look into and report on this . It would seem to be something of a significant story.

Ditto. Dealer really did not seem to care. They probably have such pent up demand they know they will be able to sell anything they get their hands on. Mine is a nice build so I’m sure he’ll be able to get rid of it quickly and he’ll get another order from me in the Spring.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this Porsche's fault or just slow government regulations? Certainly a dealer can't really do anything about this, right?
For those considering cancelling, what are you going to do instead?

Given the number of other 2021 cars already running around from other companies, this one appears to be on Porsche. Either, something is up with the car itself OR they just messed up with the paperwork/process.
