When on the ship does it show the journey across the Atlantic or does it sit on the boat in Emden and then when the boat enters its US port two weeks later it automataically jumps across the pond.
Also for those of you that did not get pics or VINS who do you contact to see if that can be arranged?
Thanks
It does track it across the Atlantic. I had satellite coverage on fleetmon.com and the tracking progress on TYD seemed to correlate pretty well with that.

Interesting, my TYD has been spot on until now, It shows me on the ship but the ship still sitting in Emden when in reality it is 1/3 of the way to Davisville. I guess at this point it does not matter as once on the ship it should follow an orderly sequence of events and my SA is desperate to make the sale by new years and so I am sure he will be all over it once it hits the port.

we’re probably at the same dealer (JD) .... my TTS is NOT here yet but got to Davisville Oct 16. I think Davisville is going very very slow.
My understanding is that Davisville is not only the biggest entry for cars in the US but accounts for 35% of Porsches/VW/Audi and so I would imagine their backlog is a little higher over and above their standard almost weekly arrivals

Probably correct, but after waiting since ordering this car in June (and the multiple delays), I'd like to be able to reset my "reality clock". I thought that once EPA and Carb were complete, we'd see our cars in a few days.

Agreed and I feel almost ridiculous saying this given how long you guys have waited for your cars but unless they clear the backlog, my car arriving on the 16th will be delayed and I know my SA desperately wants to close the sale by new years to make his quota. I also want it asap as well - That goes without saying

For whatever it is worth, my CT dealer is expecting arrivals from Davisville beginning in the first half of next week.
I would guess that clearing the backlog will take a fair while - the Davisville port complex storage is immense.
