Just got a phone call from SA told me my car arrived 10mins ago. Officially out of this thread now XD. I’m based on MA in case you were wondering.

Thats great.....How long have you been waiting for your car? My car is 20min drive to Jacksonville Fl Porsche dealership from port.

Update from our SM...Trucks are being loaded...Should see ours tomorrow or next day...Seeing we had the first delivery of 2021's to West Coast (CA) 09/05, hoping they load by arrival date...Only fair...

I'm not in a CARB state so my wait wasn't as long as most of yours, but I hope all of you experience the same joy and excitement when you get to see your new babies, and that all the frustration of the wait soon fades away. Enjoy!!

You would think/hope that FIFO should be the rule!
FWIW I think you're way ahead of me in line. But that'd only be fair.

One of the BEST pictures I've seen in months. It's a 2021, a 992, in a CARB state and it's really at a dealership for delivery!

Q.) Is that the Slate Interior and did you order the Leather Trim option as well?

Great question. Yes, it is the slate grey standard leather interior. At the time of order, I originally went with full leather and chalk stitching. I made a couple changes before my allocation locked and somehow the full leather with chalk fell off the build (everything else was fine) and didn't find out until after the car was well underway to the port. Not a big deal as I was on the fence anyway over it and it saved me $3800 not getting it, plus the dealer gave me an additional % discount for the minor mishap. After now spending the last hour in the car learning the infotainment and whatnot, I can honestly say the standard 992 interior is such a step up to me vs the 991 interior, that it doesn't even bother me that I didn't go full leather. It's that good, in my opinion.
