Does anyone know if the 2021 Taycan is affected? I know this is not the Taycan section but since my TTS. Is trapped until February I closed a deal on a 2021 Taycan today that is supposed to arrive at port Friday and someone asked me wouldn’t it have the same issue? Being electric I ASSUMED not but ??? as I guess there is more than just emissions In play (someone mentioned CC brakes)

From an EPA and CARB standpoint Taycan's should be fine. Here is the CARB page for all MY 2021 vehicles that have been approved and you'll see that the 3rd Porsche link shows that all versions of the Taycan have been certified: https://ww3.arb.ca.gov/msprog/onroad.../2021/2021.php.

Very encouraging data points, although mine is still showing 12/4 at the dealer, so who knows :-)

PSMP+2 years confirmed for me this morning also.
Still not sure how my dealer was able to pull off getting my car to me here in NJ. Can anyone hazard a guess as to whether I will have issues if I try to register the car in this state prior to CARB cert? Will the DMV even be aware?

My TYD updated today. Previously showed Arrival at Porsche Dealer on 12/4 and now shows 12/11. Keeping with the Friday theme but hopefully is accurate this time.

I noticed tonight on AutoTrader that several California Porsche dealers started advertising 2021 inventory that must be coming in soon. Mostly Turbo S's and Targa 4S's. I think that's a positive sign.

My TYD (southern CA delivery) has also just updated to 12/11--kind of given up on getting excited as its the 5th push out for me!

My TYD says the same.. thinking optimistically, maybe CARB was approved today and it's giving a 3 day window for transport. I'm not getting my hopes up though. I guess we'll see in the next few days.

SA just texted that he just got word they received CARB approval! Says cars will be shipping as early as tomorrow. Seems it is legit this time. No mention of any maintenance plan as of yet.

Updated - delivery 12/11
My TYD just updated to show port processing at Davisville actually complete 12/7 with transport to dealer 12/4(!) and estimated arrival 12/11 at dealer in CT.
Previously, TYD showed port processing actually complete 11/23.

FYI - with mine, TYD from here on out was entirely useless. It didn't change to "en route" until after the car arrived at the dealership. Your dealer should receive an email from the port processing group when your car is on a truck - according to my sales manager that's standard practice and he's always given me that heads up as soon as he receives it. And even with some backlog due to EPA delay, mine was to the dealer (600 miles from port in Baltimore) 5 days after certification.
Hope this is all true and that you all will be enjoying your new cars within a few days!
