On a side note, I went yesterday to do my "delivery" experience at PECLA without the actual delivery. But it was SO much fun. Glad I didn't reschedule (they are booked till end of February). Tried the car in a bunch of ways and got a good amount of track time.

Conspiracy theory Friday - this is a HUGE April Fools joke that involves EPA, CARB, PCNA, Dealers, etc. Every time we email or call asking them if “.....” date is actually going to be the day, right after we hang up, they ALL laugh their asses off. They’re all in on the joke, and they’re all laughing at us.

I really can't believe that they can't even give us an answer either way. My SA said no update as of 3pm and still nothing. Porsche AG should really address us at this point..

No. And I agree that PCNA should really address this in SOME way officially.

Edit: he got back to be saying they have absolutely nothing except crossing fingers for next week.

I know they’re throwing us a bone and trying to pacify us with an extended maintenance plan, but I’m still pissed. Having our $125k to $200k plus cars sit out in the elements for months in the salty sea-side air stinks. We should be getting a heck of a lot more in relief from Porsche. I’m thinking of contacting the media.

Do you think for one minute that Porsche doesn’t have someone monitoring theses posts? If they don’t, then they’re fools. We already know their customer relations is pathetic.

Contacting the media might make us look bad. They will point fingers at CARB and media is friendly to the left leaning state of California. CARB will claim they're being responsible dealing with COVID and working from home. they have us by the *****.

Try your best to pretend to forget about your incoming 992 for the next few weeks, if you can. It gets here when it gets here. I’m going to stop checking this thread, stop checking Porsche TYD (useless obviously at this point) and stop checking with the dealer. I’m sick of my scheduled bi-weekly Friday disappointment. Hopefully it’s only a couple more weeks out but who knows. No one, apparently. What’s sad is that my car went into production 9/11, got to RI beginning of October, and my uncle ordered two BMWs end of October, and he already has both of them, an X3 (I know, built in SC) and an M550i.

Put it in perspective. These are some serious first world problems. Here we have a devastating pandemic that soon will have a death toll in the US alone of 300k people, and we are in the internet venting our frustrations about our overly expensive cars not getting here soon enough. Millions without work, thousands of businesses closed or closing, many thousands more isolated from their elderly dying family members, and the entire world places upside down over the current global misery we are all going through.

You see, all of the sudden it isn’t so bad! Patience.......

My dealer in NYC responded early evening Friday my time that he had had NO response from PCNA requesting a delivery up date. C4S sitting in Rhode Island 65 days now. Deposit went in May 1st and I was told I had a slot for a 2020 MY. Then in August changed to 2021 MY. Based on dealer and PCNA email indicating mid November delivery, after several prior dates failed, I fell for that and returned my 2017 C4 lease (after a 4 month extension). Now using Avis.
