on your steering wheel - my heated GT wheel is barely noticeable with any heat. Was that your symptom? My dealer claimed they don’t produce much heat.

They will try not to fix anything under warranty as much as possible.

Picked up the car yesterday but drove it around a bit properly today. The ‘rattle’ is very much reduced. Almost to the point of not being there.
You really have to be very precise about engine speed and gear. It’s also moved down from a band around 50kph to a very precise 36kph.
The PSE does also seem to sound a bit fruitier in valve closed mode.
My service guy told me that there were some broken clips that hold the underbody panel in place and link it with the rear valence. Could this be part of the issue? Who knows.
i will have another go once we are the far side of COVID, and will post here on progress. Please keep me posted if you other guys manage to resolve your rattles.

I'm quite sure my low RPM rumble is just the sound of an engine labouring at very low RPM and in a high gear as this is the condition in which it occurs. In this condition, the engine just resonates at an odd frequency which causes a reverberation type sound. Very similar to almost any manual gearbox is shifted too high for the engine RPM.

I think a lot of what (some) of you are hearing are turbo noises. The sorcery within this engine that decreases turbo lag makes these noises more strange. The engine tries to keep the turbos spinning when off throttle so lag is less when back on power. I have noticed this witchcraft makes very odd noises

I will join the group with this sort of issue. Mine is a definite resonnant drone that I feel and hear as I accelerate thru 1500 RPM. It's been there since day one. Drive mode, exhaust mode nor engine temp makes no difference. It is particularly irritating on an incline where the engine picks up a slight load at 1500 rpm and you have to hold a little thottle to maintain speed. I also now have a rear seat area rattle that began to occur after about 1500 miles that is very closely associated with ths drone. It's in the shop for the second try today. I was able to take 2 of the sales guys out and demo the issue and compare it to a similar new car on the lot that is night and day in comparision. This is a C2S and my previous 911's were a 997 and 991 so I know this is not something "normal". Will let you know what I hopefully find out is the fix.

Other than the 2 I have owned, I've driven many other 911's and never experienced anything like this, not to mention the more than 40 other vehicles I've owned. I didn't find this on my test drives of 992's before ordering and you must have missed the point that another 992 off the dealers lot doesn't have this characteristic.

I'm at 2100 miles on my December 2019 C2S build and the sound is still there - at 1500-1800 RPM at only with slight pressure on the accelerator. I keep trying to ignore it, but it's like fingernails on a chalkboard and I keep thinking how much more solid the experience would feel. below 1500 it's great and above 2000 it's amazing...

@eagle1960 your description is very much what I experience (slight incline/load causes rattle)
My immediate fix is avoid low that rpm range - which is easy enough in Sport mode....
