Really don't like the rear wing design, no doubt will be work better, but have to see in person.

So much for clean lines and simplicity of form.

Not sure why I need it. No one is going to be able to butt-sense 5hp or 5% structural rigidity enhancement. Also looks like a dog's breakfast in that rendering. Touring looks tidy though.

Looks like a futuristic purpose built machine to me. I like it.

In terms of performance gain, personally I'd rather through some Dundon long tube headers on my 991.2 for the HP gain, weight loss, sound, AND save me on the $75k-ish difference on trade-in for a 992 but I'm lucky enough to have the 991.2 here holding me over for a bit.

Happened upon a nice purple (Viola Hong Kong) Pista at local dealer today that shows off the S Duct pretty well:

Agree with you both. I highly doubt the 992 GT3 will look as good as the 991.1 and 991.2 GT3s....

Every newer generation of GT cars generally look "busier" than the prior generation.

Compare a 996 GT3 to a 997 GT3 and one can easily come to the conclusion that the 997 is "busier".

Heck, take a look at the 991 GT3 RS ... you've naca ducts, air scoops on the sides (a la a Turbo), higher and larger wing. Part of this is the never ending chase for greater aero and downforce.

Just take a look at these side by side comparisons of the 997 GT3 RS and 991 GT3 RS.

Having the tail pipes integrated into the bumper just doesn't work for my eye. Yes, I know they were integrated on the GT2 RS...and I did not like it. Just cheapens the whole look of the rear, in my opinion.

Addendum: On second look, it looks like the renderings show the tail pipes are separate from the bumper. That would be a win, if it comes to pass.
