Article on 992 GT3 - take my money!

The Car magazine render is way off the mark. Rear wing will have swan neck...and......expect an S-duct at the front and also to potentially lose part of the frunk as a result.

I've been on Rennlist a long time....all these comments both good, unsure or bad about the pending 992 GT3 are the same that came from 996 to 997 then from 997 to 991. If you want to know what will happen history will repeat itself...go back at study Rennlist posts.

I do hope they keep the swan neck wing as some have noted as well. It has grown on me since the first shots were revealed. But I'm more interested in the interior as the 992 interior is the biggest difference (to me anyway). Curious to see how much of the interior from the 992 carries over, wonder if they can strike the balance in it. I'm on board for the upgrade, but seeing the 992 4S prices for a moderately equipped car, i'm wondering if a PCCB, bucket, lift car is going to push 200K to start?

Whatever they do I'm sure I'll want one, I'm now a fan of the 992 looks/tech/futuristic stuff that many are negative about so long as its developed in Weissach by AP
Whether I want one enough to deal with another Porsche dealer and the ADM/allocation antics is a different story...

Not a fan of this design, 991.2 looks a clear design for my taste, however no doubt it will be a better car.

Very happy to hear that a Touring is also in the works! Although I suspect it won't be released mid-2020 like its winged brother.

This is how it was used in F1 and created a big uproar in the paddock. This theory on the 992 makes some sense if they keep the drag correct since the newer GT3R and GT3 RSR have center radiators only instead of 3 like our cars.

Price may prove most interesting facet of the 992 GT3. Base price $160-170k USD will result in a lot of low $200K builds.
High option cars $225K ballpark.
