I received my white/red top 2021 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet the end of December. Since I have put Xpel ultimate on the whole front, rocker panels, door edges and under door handles. Then the whole car was coated with Tsunami Nano coating (never have to polish or wax the car.) Put light tint on all the windows, clear side markers and Smart Top. I am waiting for the T-Design memory module for the 992 the company is in the process of producing but isn't available yet, which leaves the auto stop and sport buttons in their last position when you start the car. No more hitting the Auto/stop button every time I start the car. The dealer installed Stargard and it interfered with Comfort entry and the doors would not unlock automatically in my under ground garage. Apparently if Stargard does not get a GPS signal it amplifies its signal until it does. This then interfered with the Comfort Entry and the doors would not unlock. I went from a 718 Boxster and very pleased with the 911.
[QUOTE=drcollie;17236923]992 "Aluminum" look gas cap out of the UK. These are not yet in the USA parts network, so to England we go!
[QUOTE = The 991 caps apparently don't work on the 992's according to Suncoast Parts Dept.
I think they do as I took mine out of my 991.2 and no issues. I have also seen many other 992 owners who have used the same one. I think they just changed the styling. Also, I have the same one for our 2019 Macan S which we used on our 2015 & 2018 Macans & 2018 Cayman S.
If you look at the disclaimer with this new gas cap...it fits all from 2013 to 2022. I have found the sales reps for Suncoast are not all created equal or knowledgeable of the products they are selling...
