Right, you have to move both cars out from underneath. My original plan (many years ago) was to add a second, single car, 4 post lift on the left side of the garage to go with the one I've had on the right side since late 2017. I didn't want to have to move two cars out from underneath just to get one down from the top. But my garage is so narrow that there simply isn't enough width to add a second, single car, lift. So this was really the only option if I wanted to get 4 cars in the garage. It's not a huge deal to move two cars out of the way plus now we don't have any posts in the middle of the garage. Which is esp nice since the old lift had its motor mounted on the outside of the left front post so you had to bend your body around it when walking between the cars. So I guess it's a trade-off - you have to move two cars but you don't have any posts in the middle of the garage.
Yea, I chose this one because it's a well known brand and it looks super sturdy. It has a better locking mechanism than my old one and it has square posts (plus a nice paint job!). I only ever put my M2 up on the old lift once - it was pretty flimsy by comparison so I wasn't 100% comfortable with the M2 up there. But it was sufficient for the Miata and the GTI and served me well for over 6 years. The ramps for the new lift are 4' long and they're aluminum - it's only about 4.5" rise to get up on the new lift - not bad at all (the 911 should be fine getting up there too). Old lift had 3' ramps with about 4.75" rise - and they were steel so they were roughly twice as heavy.
Thanks - all good reasons. It sure seems to be a sturdy lift and more room in between. I thought of a lift for my single garage for a while but struggle with the room available, height...and the once that would fit don't give me the feel.of safety to have 2 valuable cars (one up and one under). Like the newer fork style lift.
heya.. what is the general consensus about the airbag and seat warning stickers on the sun visors. do y'all let it be? or is there an easy trick to remove it?

I always remove mine.
Rubbing alcohol and sponge with some time. PIA but it works
Got the vehicle just over 2 weeks ago…wrapped, lip, gt3 sides, lowered on eibach sport spring, 15mm front & 12 mm rear spacers, window tint, chrome trim delete, clear markers…catless down pipes and tune this week.
Thanks. Garage ceiling is about 17' high - basically two stories. What this garage lacks in width - it's obnoxiously narrow - it makes up for in height.

Put these stickers on top. Problem solved. Way easier than trying to remove them. cover up
Could we please see some more pics of the Eibach springs JR_O?
How does it ride? Did you have factory sport suspension to begin with, -10mm?
Looks great from these shots, would love to see a few more side and rear daytime shots.
Thanks!
No, I don’t believe you can option the base model with the 10mm lower. That’s what I was looking for. The h&r springs were too low from the pictures I’ve seen and I didn’t want to spend the extra amount for the adjustable coil overs. There’s not too much info or reviews on the eibach ones but I took the risk and it paid off. I saved money. Got the height I wanted and the handling/feel is pretty much same as stock. Maybe even better. I don’t have much seat time with the stock suspension as I wanted to get the right ride hight asap as I’ve only had the car for less than 3 weeks now.
