What would be an issue with winter tyres on 21/20 rims? If any.

Any particular reason you went with the Porsche box? I have a Yakima Sky Box that I plan on using.

I try to keep things as OEM as possible. For that reason, we have the BMW rails and the BMW roof box.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if either or both are Thule or Yakima products with the OEM badges slapped on.

Don't forget the markup for Porsche branding that is "slapped on" too!

This is actually an Avant as well! Not sure of its provenance, but I assumed it came to the Atlanta area dealer we bought it from via someone local. The matte wrap looks pretty sweet, but it could really use a ceramic coating, it holds grime like glue!

No issues running winter tires on the 20/21 wheels. I’m on winters as we speak.

Today I added the aluminum look gas cap, oil cap and water cap. So silly but I like them.

My winter wheels are also 20/21. I got a separate set of wheels after research here showed that swapping the tires twice a year could result in damaging the wheels. Also having a second set of wheels means I can swap them myself, without needing to go to the tire shop twice a year.

...and since we're talking about changing wheels, these alignment pins makes it so much easier to take off and re-install the wheel...especially the rear 21"

...and they're cheap

Anyone have a good suggestion for a wall mounted inflation system?

PSA on those wheel alignment pins... DO NOT get the ones with the knurled edge. It scratches the hell out of your rim's bolt hole for no good reason. Get one that is smooth. The wheel/tire is heavy enough that even with a smooth edge, it is not sliding off those pins at all. in fact, you will appreciate being able to slide the rim onto the hub and not have that knurling scratch up your rims. I got this one after using one with the knurled edge for a while:

The knurled ends are so you can spin them on with your fingers, but I agree, they will scratch if you aren't careful.

I played with ideas for a while. I needed a setup that would not detract from the decor of my garage! I looked at a lot of options, but couldn’t find any that I thought were aesthetic enough. So I decided to mount a self-retractable hose reel at the top of the stairs that lead from my garage to my basement. All you see in the garage is the end of the hose and the wall switch. When I need it, I just pull it out and pop on the inflator. The hose is 75’. When I’m done, I give it a tug to release it, then it retracts back into the wall. I have to admit, it’s pretty darn slick!

And in my other garage, I don’t have anything behind the wall, so I hid the compressor inside a cabinet.
