My faux aluminum coolant and oil caps recently arrived from Suncoast. I already have the gas cap on standby will several other goodies waiting for the car.

When I need it, I just pull it out and pop on the inflator. The hose is 75’. When I’m done, I give it a tug to release it, then it retracts back into the wall. I have to admit, it’s pretty darn slick!

And in my other garage, I don’t have anything behind the wall, so I hid the compressor inside a cabinet.

Great garage! I think it looks better than my home office. I am now walking away in shame.

Picked up my C2 cab day after Thanksgiving. Waited a couple days for the Carbonio plate holder to arrive. Installed, inspected and off to ppf/ceramic jail. Got back yesterday. OrderedGT3 side skirts, clear markers, stone guards, frunk lid protector, cargraphic, and frunk liner.
After have 3-5k miles will do M-engineering stage 1 (by then I may decided to go stage2/3 with slip on valveless exhaust and gts turbo).

Question: Will you also PPF the side skirts and the install them, or install them without PPF? Dif you PPF them, do you do them separately while off the vehicle, or do it as part of body?

If you can't screw these in easily by hand, there are other issues. Also, there is a reason the factory ones are smooth and soft aluminum instead of hard steel.

PPF goes on painted parts and these are unpainted, so no (AFAIK).

And the PPF is added AFTER their mounted. Very difficult to stretch the PPF on an unsecured part.

I got this one after using one with the knurled edge for a while:

I have not had that problem but will probably add some tape to the knurled end to avoid any mishap.

Autel MX808S just so I can turn off the stupid oil change reminder (after changing the oil ofc). Cheapest price I could find was $375, which I think is the cheapest way to reset oil changes.

You got it! Long term, this sort of nonsense is likely generate "Right to Repair" legislation. In the mean time I have the same Scan Tool. I just have to assume, unfortunately, that it's part of the cost of the car. I would think (hope?) the folks in Porsche's Marketing Department would, over the long haul, have the upper hand with the Sales Department on this one.

It's just ridiculous that after I change my own oil, the dealerships still want $150 to hook up the car to press the oil service done button. The Autel works fine on the 911 and Audi Q5 so it paid for itself in one oil change cycle.
