Aerokit wing! Off for paint and installation next week. I got the distinct impression that I should expect to be without the car for at least a week, which is frustrating but hopefully they'll do excellent work to make up for it.
All told what was the cost to get it, paint and install?.
I'd rather not think about it . I paid the revised price for the kit from Suncoast, around $5000 shipped with taxes and all -- feels like a ripoff given last year's pricing (closer to $2000), but realistically it's probably reasonable. Paint was $1650 (which seemed exorbitant), install $900 (more reasonable). Since I had to replace the rear wing regardless following the malicious tree branch incident, I had some insurance money to put towards this escapade.

@Cyberzolot did that in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1289...l#post17985243. Seemed like no issues due to non-SD -- just the same issues everyone has with the install that requires some modification of wiring harnesses -- but I can't say for sure.

Interestingly the Suncoast listing says it requires or at least recommends the front Sport Design fascia, but not the rear. And yet when you order the Aerokit on the car, you have no choice but to get the full Sport Design.

Others have speculated that this may be because the sport design front fascia changes are functional (w.r.t. aerodynamics), and Porsche made some effort to achieve an aerodynamic balance with the Aerokit wing. Not sure if the rear is purely aesthetic or functional as well though.
I suspect most of us wouldn't be able to tell a difference, and even with "unbalanced aero" or whatever these cars are supremely more capable, roadworthy, and safe than the clapped out Altimas that zip through traffic in Atlanta with the bumper held on by two clips and a prayer.
Yep. The center is brushed gray and changes appearance quite a lot depending on light. I am looking forward myself how that plays out when on the car.
Quick update, treated the wheels with Ceramic coat this weekend when I took these shots. The color appearance of the center changes greatly depending on light. Last pic is just for fun - always amazes me how these 992's just make these beefy rims and tires disappear.

Bringing the car to the dealer to get my clockspring replaced finally and went ahead and told the dealer to throw some Alpin5 tires on since it dipped into the 30s already.
