My car sitting at the port waiting to be carried up to my dealer is doing terrible things to my wallet. Picked up the AWE foilers, a uniden r7 + mirror tap + blendmount for a road trip I'm planning, and almost hit buy on gt3-style skirts before i decided to pump the brakes.

This car better hurry up lol.

Im like you- I want more and I still have a V10 Audi R8 Performance fully modded with a loud a$$ exhaust so this thing (992 GTS is like a kitty cat purring compared) is rather docile under WOT and Load, so I added these items:

1. Soul 200 Cells
2. M Engineering tune with the valve adjustment so they are open ALL the time in Sport and Sport Plus or with the Exhaust button on

Cliche but Ill say it, with the Sport Cats and the Valve adjustment, its that much better!!! Id say the cats alone pre tune added about 30% more decibels (its not a tonal adjustment) under load and WOT but the valve part is a just a bonafide plus.

Just ordered the Akrapovic slip-on cat-back exhaust. Will be installed June 9. Looking forward to experience how it changes the exhaust note form the PSE.

I ordered the Lloyd rear carpeted shelf mat; black mat/black piping with white stitching. Suncoast said the delivery time will be 3-4 weeks.

Thought about that one. Going to get a $6 moving blanket from harbor freight in black with white stitching that resembles the black with chalk stitching interior.

I love a nice exhaust note, but it is loud enough for me stock. They say it gets louder over time, as well, so I'm gonna leave it alone for now. If/when I do upgrade, I'm still on a Kline full.

For now, top down, WOT, 5k+ this thing it sounds sublime. I need nothing more for now.

I hear ya. but only after 5k rpms LOL

Totally makes sense for what one wants or is satisfied with--- I just dont see the opportunity to sit in the 5k to 7k rpm with the GTS for prolonged periods of time--- its not a n/a car that will require that higher rpm range to get more tq (my R8 is already that) nor do I always have the room on the roads to not only reach that rpm threshold but also sit there to get aural pleasure

The tune is excellent in this regard where you can use that low end tq and still enjoy the flat 6 below that full valve opening sector.

Cheers! The M-Engineering tune really is the icing on the cake to allow for the true exhaust note to shine through with the valves fully opened. For all those looking for the end result with sport cats like you would get on the 991.2 - this is the way!

I have this, works well. I've been through many and even hardwired ones. This is my current and happy so far, the arrows are nice/helpful as well.

^ Top down is the key. Those of us who own Cabriolets know that that is the secret sauce if you enjoy the exhaust sounds.

I ran that way for about a year--PSE (although I had sport cats).

Lloyd must’ve had black carpeted shelf mats with black piping/white stitching already made. They shipped my mat today. It’s set to arrive tomorrow.
