3/31 Port Arrival
4/19 Port Departure
So just short of 3 weeks, assuming the TYD dates are accurate
During the last month, TYD dates did shift quite a bit.
The 3/31 Port Arrival was fairly consistent.
But Port Departure shifted from 4/5 to 4/3 to 3/31 to 5/12 and then back to the final 4/19....
Without pouring through hundreds of pages, can someone with experience give an idea of how long an 'average' wait at Emden has been recently? I've seen the horror stories, such as @johny221, but that has to be a fairly rare exception, no?
Unfortunately I'm in the 'horror story' camp, as mine was Released for Transport on February 22nd, and has not even arrived in Emden yet, it is still at the storage facility in France with the date it was supposed to arrive at port already having past. It shows an outside date of Delivery to my US dealer in mid-August (was originally going to be March 31st).
This is beyond extreme. Is there anything out of the super ordinary with your car? Is it PTS?
That is not reasonable. They need to provide you with something. Have you contacted anyone above the dealer yourself?
Nothing too weird. Regular GTS, black, manual, aero kit. Completed picture that was taken of the side shot was dated December 4th (could see the date on the windshield tag) and it was missing aero kit but you would think they’ve sourced one in the almost 5 months since 99% of the car was complete.
And no for contacting anyone else, not seen a lot of success stories or great endings with somebody reaching out to Porsche NA.

Just constantly bugging my SA and GM
It's the aero kit I'm guessing. Friend has a GTS with aero kit that has been on almost the same track date wise as yours. He now shows at dealer end of May.
Up until Step 4, my GTS was on schedule. Went into production 4/18 and the next night I got 3 photos. Was supposed to complete production by 4/24 but TYD now shows a 9-day delay for everything so production completion of 5/3. Hoping it’ll be completed any day now!

I would think that too because it was missing in the picture. But then you talk to some others that had large delays and no common denominator with our options. IE some didn’t have aero or one person had the aero kit and it was actually in the side shot, but still really delayed.
what’s been ever more weird, I got the 4 pictures in January and also the email and TYD update that congratulated me that the car was completed. But it never went to V300 status and eventually reverted back.
Also I got another email from Porsche in early March thanking me for placing an order, the same email I got back in October of last year when I got the commission number.
@bt318 Very cool spec, congratulations! Good luck with the break-in, I'm at 450 miles, it's not that bad lots of fun in the bottom half of the RPM range.
This is only anecdotal, but it seems like things have been better more recently - maybe someone who’s car has been sitting longer will correct me on that.
My GTS shows as hitting Step 6 and being at the port as of yesterday (4/24), it looks like the next ship that will be going to Baltimore will be there on 5/6 - so if I get onto that ship, it would amount to about 12 days at the port.
Lots of variables, but I’m hoping I get onto the next ship and start the journey across the Atlantic.
Appreciate the feedback. Helps me temper expectations when my time comes. Lock date is 4/27, so just beginning the process.
My car TTS is at step 4 as today. Delivery to dealer 6/1. I was at the dealer today picking up my older car My Sales Manager went into his system and it showed Delivery 6/5.
