How about this - I ordered a $168,000 Panamera 4 hybrid executive and it has just finished being built and it looks like they canceled my Bose stereo and did not give me the chance to upgrade to the Burmeister so this luxury sedan will have the standard 150 watt stereo. Then I believe they also canceled they automatic steering column so when you open the car door the column won’t retract and move up like is normal in a luxury sedan and then I read this morning on the Panamera discussion forum that they have also nixed the rear seat A/c control panel as well - and the main reason I sold my Mercedes S560 was to replace it with a luxury car with rear seat a/c controls so my wife’s menopausal girlfriends can freeze themselves out if they want when she drives them around town.
If this car shows up in the first week of January without the rear seat a/c controls my wife will not want this car and the Panamera is not a Gt4 and will depreciate by $30,000 the moment I pay for the vehicle.
really annoying if this luxury sedan is delivered with a stereo worse than a Toyota Corolla, no steering wheel auto retract and now no rear seat a/c controls.
porsche is giving me a $1500 discount for nixing the Bose stereo and what $500 for the other two necessary and normal luxury sedan features? If I needed an extra $2,000 I would not be paying $168,000 for a luxury sedan that depreciates like a rock thrown into the ocean.
That's just bull****. I wouldn't take delivery and would just give it up but then again I value interior lux equally to driving experience

That is a real problem. I would cancel and wait for the next build slot, except you sold the S560.
Please keep us posted, keen to hear if the dealer will actually try to help.
The missing options were not the responsibility or control of the dealer but whether I would get my deposit back of $10,000 if I decided not to take the Panamera. And I still don’t know if they built the car without the steering column motor or if they also did install the rear seat a/c controls.
I have asked the SA to find out - I was willing to let the Bose stereo cancellation pass - I could likely upgrade the speakers or amplifier myself.
Hopefully in the next week or so I will find out what options were included —-

Anyone else seeing anything strange on TYD this morning? My car went cp8 on 9/12, and has been sitting in Emden since then. Latest schedule as of last week was loading on a boat on 12/23, with delivery to PEC on 2/3. Today, TYD is showing delivered to Atlanta. Dealer says it's still in Emden.

Were you able to reach out to your dealer today to confirm that they are still showing that it is in Emden? That seems like a rather large discrepancy. You could also call the 1-800-PORSCHE number and see what they show as your status.
According to TYD, my car arrived at the Port of Emden on December 8 but the next stage, which is "On Vessel", is only estimated to be on December 23. According to previous posts, that "On Vessel" date is often delayed even further out. Does anyone have an idea why it takes so long to load these cars onto a ship?

I was cursing you for getting to port after me but on the boat before. I've only been waiting since August '22. I take that back. Drive the heck outta that thing when you get it!
