adaptive cruise control is really a great feature on long drives. Let’s the car drive itself on the freeway.
go all Bordeaux interior and Bordeaux (red) fabrics roof.
the one option I have always checked was the leather for the steering column. No one ever notices this but me but it gets rid of the last piece of hard plastic - sometimes Porsche gives you a choice of documents as well —-
the graphite blue interior would look nice with the silver paint and look a different than the grey interior —
Saying goodbye. This beauty arrived in my driveway yesterday. 1st build went down on the Felicity Ace. Changed up the spec a little with the redo.
1st one was 18 ways, lightweight glass, PCCB,PDCC, RWS. 2nd spec is full lightweight pckg with LWSB. Lost PCCB and PDCC due to build constraints,
no biggie with the PCCB, but really wanted the PDCC.
Also, props to my SA and Porsche of Melbourne. Had a handshake agreement, nothing in writing, for an MSRP deal. 13 months and one drowned allocation later, deal was honored, no question.

Congratulations. Great looking build! Nice to see car arrive rather than lament about delays.
So the status on “My Porsche” moved to Scheduled for production, but when I go to TYD it still shows lock date (which happens before scheduled for production step) is still 20 days out. Which one is right? I’ve had TYD bouncing around lately so not sure what to trust.

it is notorious for bouncing around but eventually becomes accurate.
I agreed to buy a 992 GTS that has been manufactured and waiting on the dock in Germany to be shipped to the US by the end of August.
I asked my dealer if I could track my car's progress and he informed me that it takes Porsche two weeks at least before the
system would allow me to track the car. Coming from a corporate culture where our customers can immediately track production of
our products starting the day the order is placed I was surprised and disappointed. Seems to me Porsche is behind the curve in this area
versus what others are doing. What say you?

I don’t think it’s they’re behind I just think they don’t give a crap. Germans make the best products in the world in my opinion but they also are the king of I don’t give a crap. This has to do with everything they make not just cars. Try to get good customer service from some of their elite gun manufacturers. They don’t give a crap. Lol
Call the 800 service line for Porsche and they can send you the invitation letter to track your car - usually takes a couple days. You can do this without involving your dealer at all.
I did and they told me the same thing. Not one to quit easily I emailed Porsche North American CEO Dr. Kjell Grunner
who assigned an assistant to do a weekly tracking for me until I can access myself. Its now been over two weeks and
My Porsche still will not accept my Vin# so I can track on my own. My GTS on order is my second Porsche after a decade
lapse. Love the cars but would have thought its systems and customer service would be up to the standards set by other
auto manufacturers. I had a Mustang GT350R (great driver's car which I lost in a flood) and Ford could not do enough to
keep me happy and loyal.
their online software is junk- Iwas told to use Google's Browser chrome with all their online software - -even the configurator as they use FLASH in their software which Apple and other browser do not always support properly. What is really annoying is that Porsche does not provide support for the Panamera or Macon at all in the TMD app. I have a Panamera Executive on order for December delivery and I won't be able to track it at all except by bothering the SA --
I have three late model Porsches currently - and I called and tried to get them all setup on MY POrsche - what a nightmare -- crazy complicated even with the help of a Porsche rep on the phone who was very helpful. And this is their new improved My Porsche App that was released a few months back. Really Dumb for a company with billions in profits not customer concerned enough to hire some programmers and get these apps rebuilt properly -- what would it cost them $1 million at the most and more likely a few hundred thousand dollars --but necessary in this new online world. Seems really stupid -- to me. When I bought a mini cooper I could track it perfectly on their online app -- no issues and easy to do --
