I'm well aware, but mine will be sexier!!

 

I have a 2023 C2S in PTS on order. It does change the allocation. I was forwarded the email traffic between my dealer and the Porsche N.A. manager in GA, and it changed my original 9/2022 allocation to October (and possibly November) just because of PTS. It has also impacted my ability to make changes to the build, even though I’m still 35 days away from lock. I tried to add Exclusive Design tail lights last week and that change was “blocked by Porsche AG” with reason being “material ordered.” Thankfully, I can live without that minor change and can retrofit if desired. I don’t want to force the issue and risk pushing my allocation back in the line at this point.

My overall advice is that if you want PTS, be clear about it from the beginning, understand that it will push back your timeline if approved at all, and make sure that the build you submit is pretty much what you want because it might be difficult to change. Hopefully, you’ll be good to go with it being this early in the model year. They cut PTS orders off early for 2022 and who knows what might happen this time around. I hope it works out for you.

I received a track your dream email about six hours before one from my SA. Currently says: 1. You're order is created. Shows lock date and anticipated delivery.

 

Interesting. I have the same order date. Locks mid October. Deliver a week later than yours.

 

I tried to add PTS to my build last week and was told PTS is a stop sale and shouldn't expect the car till the end of next summer 2023 if I wanted to hold out for PTS. Let us know what the dealership tells you. My guys are claiming PTS will run after all the other GTS's and come last. I think that sucks!

 

TYD disappeared from my profile today - must be a bug. The car should be arriving to RI today or tomorrow - annoying that now is when TYD stops working...

San Martin is ship due in Davisville RI tomorrow. My GTS is on that ship too.

 

Or worst case you can buy them for $100+/- from Suncoast like I did and put them in yourself. They're super easy to install - like click out, unplug, plug in kinda thing. Check Youtube for how first because they come out/in a certain way and the way the metal spring and clip work together one can bend if done wrong.

 

I asked to add PTS last week and they're trying to get me a slot in early 2023 instead of October 2022. We'll see what they say. I'm not in a hurry.
