The car is official done and "Ready for Transport." Unfortunately it will have to be in storage and wait for my Aug 30 ED collection. I will be halting my tracking duties and taking some respite for the time being.

Is InnoDrive only available in PDK? My spec is GTS 7 speed manual and I was slapped with the same delay of 9/30 CP8.0 date, even though I received email notification and pics that my vehicle is produced on 6/6. I reached out to my SA, who wasn't able to provide any clarity. Online customer support told me TYD is the best source of information lol.

innodrive and adapter cruise control are both only available on PDK cars. The car needs to shift at times as it can control speed to the maximum you set down to a dead stop in traffic and then back up to the speed set. Hard to do all this using an old-fashioned manual gear box. I understand the nostalgia for the manual gearbox- had one in my 1970 911 T Targa -- back in the 70's. I also had a radio with a tape player and not an airbag or fancy anti-skid technology and anti-lock brakes or even electric seats, and auto door locks or even tire pressure gauges - not even fuel injection system. Just twin barrel carburetors and manually adjustable valves. But I don't want my new 2022 Porsche sports car to have a carburetor, or a tape player, and I don't try to remove airbags or anti-lock brakes and so on. So why do so many guys want to put a 1970's technology transmission in their high teach 2022-23 vehicle? I know-- it is more "engaging" -- but the PDK is faster from 0-60, makes the car faster on a track and is more reliable (no clutch change every 50,000 miles). Personally, if I really wanted the nostalgia of a 1970's Porsche - before the cars were available with the PDK (I understand not wanting the old tiptronic transmission which was slower than manually shifting and not very smart) -- buy a classic Porsche. You can manually shift the PDK -- just no clutch - and when you have the auto blip on the manual these days is that not sort of an automatic transmission- just a badly designed one? Which one costs Porsche more money to build? The PDK or the manual gearbox? NO wonder they keep offering it-- saves them tons of money and forces guys to buy the S or above at an extra $18,000. I'm 70 -- but I want the newest technology possible in a car that costs over $100,000 -- and you don't get the CRAZY "super speed" button on the drive selector on the steering wheel with a manual either and I find that button very "engaging". The PDK also is not an automatic transmission -- in fact -- it is an automatic manual transmission -- actually two manually transmissions side by side that is smart enough to anticipate your needs and shift the out of use TRansmission to the next gear that will likely be needed. Watch some youtube videos on the PDK to understand what an engineering marvel this automatic manual transmission really is-- and no slippage as with older torque converter transmission like the dated Tiptronic. Which is oddly the transmission Porsche puts in the Cayenne.

Hi Folks - is it typical for ship tracking across the Atlantic to pause until the ship gets closer to the US east coast? I'm on the SFL Conductor and the last position shown on the vessel tracking websites is around 2 days old, close to when the ship was leaving the English Channel and entering the Atlantic.

My car was completed on 6/6/22. I received a email that it was completed and was provided with photos. TYD showed dealer delivery 8/5. TYD recently changed to dealer delivery 11/4. Anyone know what’s going on? The car is built. I received photos.
