So my 992 C2 build was supposed to begin production 3 days ago (Friday 11/11) but still today (Monday 11/14) FYD hasn't updated the status to indicate it's started production, it's still at scheduled for production and still shows scheduled for production 3 days ago. But the delivery date hasn't changed. Does it take a while for FYD to update that production has started?

Yes, at least for me. My C2 was scheduled to begin production 11/4, shows actual production started 11/7 and think it actually updated around the 11th. I am now showing in Emden.
Looks like the Supreme Ace is loading now. Anyone showing on the ship?

Yup. Exactly the same for me. Production start estimated for 11/11 but still no updates. I've already reached out to my dealer and he's looking into it. My car was supposed to be a 2022 and was originally scheduled to be built in July, so it's getting a bit ridiculous now. It's not like have PTS or some exclusive options. But perhaps even worse is that TYD shows, CP8.0, Ready for Transport, in Transport to Emden, Arrival Emden Port, & On Vessel ALL on the same day, Nov 25th. As somebody with a career in International logistics, I know that's not how this works. So in some cases, TYD is really nothing more than a vague estimate.
My Targa 4 GTS has been pushed back several times now (no PTS or PCCB). It's also stuck in "Start Production" which was supposed to be 11/02. Completion was supposed to be 11/11 but is now showing 12/02.
Delivery is pushed out to January but who knows?

My experience is they aren’t going to update the future dates until they have a confident current stage date or completion then they’ll update downstream and even at that not always updated to the end as they know there still are variables ahead. Makes sense to me for them to do it this way, but should be better at explaining this as their approach.
Blown away 2022s are still in process… sorry to hear.
Must have been a busy day for the Porsche upload team. Chalk (that looks a bit too white in that photo...) Targa GTS, but will be collecting dust in the corner of the factory until ED sometime next spring, still waiting for a date. Kind of hoping they also just left the wheels and engine off so that I can actually afford it.
My car finally shows in transit to emden. On 11/11. Initial delivery date was 11/4. No pics yet. Tried the tyd hack yesterday. Who might be my potential boatmates?
I might be. I'm at port now waiting to load...my delivery date moved up to 12/2 from 12/9
Who is going to burst my bubble? My car came out of production at the end of last week. The delivery date moved from 12/9 to 12/2. . . How realistic is 17 days? I assume not real? I've got my interest rate locked in until 12/30 at 3.25% for 72 months (not that I'll ever carry the loan for that long) after that it could adjust. . .

once the car is loaded on a ship it takes approx 3 weeks to cross the Atlantic and a week at port if you are on east coast. This was my time line, I got extremely lucky that car only waited at emden for 5 days.
if u are locked in till end of the year it’s possible to get the car by then. How did you get an interest rate so low??? I was able to get 4.2% for 72 months and lock was only good for 30 days, yours is beyond 30.
Correct east coast, heading to RI. I'm in NJ so maybe half day of transit when it is on the truck. If it takes 3 weeks to cross no way it will hit the 12/2 date. As for the rate, I've been locked for over a week already. My loan officer at the credit union even said, even if delayed into Jan, they would just re-run my credit and likely honor the rate when I applied which is why I did it so soon. My money manager was floored when I was able to get the loan at 3.25, he himself was at 4.7 on his new Range Rover which was the same price $175k as my GTS. . . I guess the relationship with my credit union was worth it.

Just to quickly clarify, I was flipped from a 2022 to a 2023 back in August. But I've been down this TYD brick road before, even receiving the "your vehicle has BEEN produced" message back at the end of July. But after the dates didn't change for some time, I reached out to the dealer and Porsche NA and they confirmed that it was just an automatic message and the notification was sent based on the time line date and my car was NOT actually built. It was quite a let down, especially since I was planning European delivery and had since finalized all my plans. Then it was weeks of limbo until I was finally told that the car would be changed to a 2023. (For weeks, I was still hoping the car would be produced in time to make my Oct 14th pick up date). To make matters worse, for a period, I had two GTS in my profile: the old one which was supposedly produced but had no further details in the timeline, and a new, identical one, a 2023, that didn't have a timeline established for weeks. My skepticism was in full overload during that process. In fact, it was just recently that the original phantom GTS left my profile.
So you may be correct about the way Porsche is now going about the TYD dates and timeline. Ironically, early this morning, I received a notification from the Porsche APP confirming that I was now in 'stage 2' and my car was scheduled for production. That's what the timeline on TYD and the sheet sent by the dealer have been listing since Nov 4th. So perhaps at least the notifications are now actual and not just based on the timeline placeholders. It's still hard to believe it, having gone through this and having received those messages before. But at least I have a VIN number now and that's something I didn't have on the original 2022 TYD timeline. It sort of makes it real.
