I am on the boat ahead, the Glovis Supreme but stopping in Brunswick and Columbia on the way to San Diego. The Asteria Leader was not a for sure pickup in Emden (the schedule said by inducement) but may end up being the faster ride to so cal given the fewer stops.

Mine is on the CYGNUS LEADER as well said to be in San Diego 1/7/2022? Almost here.
DO you think this is an accurate date?

Have you or @frankchn heard any news from your dealers? My car is going to Stevens Creek, so not all that far from Benicia. I'm hopeful that we won't have to wait until 12/10, unless there is some local truck shortage happening...

Radio silence from my SA. I called PCNA around lunchtime and they were able to confirm that my car has been released for transport (which alleviated a big concern of mine about shipping damage, as in that case it would be held at port). They said the car hasn't exited the port yet and is scheduled to leave on 12/10 (same date as TYD shows). Although, I heard that at this point the tracking system is not super accurate, and the dealer would know better as they are alerted as soon as the car is on a truck.

Please keep us posted if any Benicia folks get any updates. I'll do the same.

Looking at the GM issues instead of Porsche, but still an interesting article on the challenges of car transport business today:

So, yesterday, TYD showed that I arrived a the port on 11/25 and supposed to be on Siem Aristotle by today with arrival at dealership by 12/31. TODAY it shows arrival at port by 12/3 (don’t believe that), hitting Siem Aristotle on 12/24 and arriving at dealership by 1/21. WTF?

Alternatively, keep checking TYD a few times a day and drive yourself crazy trying to make sense out of something that makes no sense.
