Looks like my car made it on the Siem Plato and will land in Halifax on Nov 6th . Any one know how long it will take to make it over to Vancouver from Halifax? Been a super long wait as it will be a year since initial deposit shortly.
Well, NYC > Benicia is 18 days. I hope they won't make stops at South America, but even with San Diego, we are looking at another 3 weeks from the time it reaches NYC. Interestingly dates haven't moved in TYD but the ship's route changed to include NYC. I hope TYD is correct.

Also know P has no VPC anywhere near Newark, so suspect this bizarre, alleged route is fake news
And asked SF friends who get new P's every year: barring CARB issues, cars arriving at Benicia tend to reach SF region dealers within 2d (advantages of a smaller port/VPC vs SD that serves the far higher-volume LA region, arguably world's biggest P-buying urban region)

I don’t think the ship is only carrying Porsches (or even only VW Group vehicles) since it stopped in Bremerhaven before (BMW loads their cars onto ships in Bremerhaven) and Zeebrugge after Emden, so there are likely other manufacturers’ cars on the ship. They’ll have to drop those off at Newark.
