What is a stop sale and who would be the rep? I assume our dealership would be the rep. Thanks for any suggestions

Realistically this will mean a early December delivery for us.

Thank you for the update but not me. I made onto the Garnet Leader. Due into San Diego Nov 12 or 13. Though not sure I will get any sooner then you guys. Last I heard my dealer eta was pushed to Dec 10.

There is a status screen for the individual orders that shows the vehicle status and any stop sale indications - basically this is anything that blocks Porsche from selling the car, like TPMS.

The rep is the regional PCNA rep. They should have better info on the status of the order.

Sorry to be so clueless, what is TPMS and PCNA. not sure how we’d find out who the PCNA rep is

TPMS = tire pressure monitoring system. There is a shortage of TPMS controllers, without which cars cannot be sold due to federal safety requirements.

PCNA = Porsche Cars North America. Porsche’s subsidiary in the US. Each geographic area’s dealers is managed by a PCNA regional rep, and they may have more info. You’ll have to go through your dealer to contact those folks.

Nope. It’s still at port. My dealer told me it cleared PDI and was ready for transport. In the past this would happen pretty quickly - Porsche is not usually in the habit of leaving sellable cars at port. It could ship anytime, I suppose.

Yes! Looks like it's definitely not going to Brazil. TYD arrival is 11/25 at Benicia and dealer arrival at 12/3.

TYD moved up my dealer arrival from 12/5 to 11/21

Yep, TYD just updated with the same dates for me! I'll ask my SA to check for open campaigns, hopefully no further delays for missing parts.

Porsche SA: "No, your Porsche is here in our show room!"

me: "Are you sure? My car's on the Felicity Ace and it just docked in Rhode Island."

Porsche SA: "Uh, hold on"

me: "Are you sure?"

Porsche SA: "Uh, no I'm not sure. Let me look (walking across the showroom) we got 2 cars in today and 1 is a Carrera 4. Oh, this one's silver. Not yours. I got a little too excited when I saw it. Sorry....... I'll call you when it arrives."
