Doug, It's a long wait for sure. I could have had a 2021 C2 allocation with delivery in June/July, but after a lot of consideration and some very helpful comments on the Forum, I opted for a manual transmission (Every one of my Porsches have had manual gearboxes), and the next available S allocation was the 4S that I ultimately went with. Since I'm moving from PA to CA, I wasn't really looking for a 4, but I took what was available

Let me know how you make out on the driveway. I have quite a while before my build locks, so any info will be helpful. As for the premium package, for some reason Porsche decided to include ventilated seats, and since Sport Tex seats and ventilation are incompatible, the premium package isn't available if you order Sport Tex. I had to go a la carte with the premium package options that I really wanted.

Tom - that sucks about the premium package and, I hope that changes before your lock. The Sport Tex seats look amazing.
and - even in CA, I bet you will enjoy the AWD - especially on those rare days it rains.

Bloodshot - that hi-gloss black trim looks excellent on your build

Thanks pretty excited, not sure why the new configurator can't do the black Aero, but it is coming.

After putting a deposit on a Turbo S Cab in 8/2020, I got tired of waiting for an allocation. Additionally, I realized that I did not in any way need that much power and that I would, in fact, like to retire someday. So I now have an accepted order for a 2022 Carrera S Cab:

http://www.porsche-code.com/PNFJ5VG5

Delivery not until September

Beautiful - car in similar color* at my dealer earlier in the year and they did the wheels painted in Exterior Color (instead of the black you went with). Looked amazing.

*car was Agate grey

Love it. Looks like our cars will be on the assembly line at the same time.

Good to hear! I am considering doing Agate with wheels same color. Looks amazing on the configurator but then they all do!

Has TYD updated to show your car on the Siem Aristotle? My car got to Emden the same day as departure of the Aristotle but not sure if it actually made the boat or will be waiting at port for the next one.

There is either a lot of traffic in the port at Davisville or the Bishu Highway has managed to hit an iceberg (too soon for Titanic humor?). Either way, it’s been in the same spot for a couple of days.

You now have me wondering if I should change the wheels to exterior color (Aventurine Green) instead of gloss black. Pretty subtle difference on the configurator.
