I was able to get a Targa 4S allotment and is supposed to be delivered in July. Crazy and totally unexpected. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

I have a question for anyone who has ordered the deviated stitching package. I saw the description which includes steering wheel stitching, but on the build sheet it lists all the areas where there is deviated stitch except the the steering wheel. Is that just an anomaly? I ordered the heated GT multifunction steering wheel.

Congrats. Mine was much slower than that. Allocation secured in late October and didn't get produced until March. Based on recent posts here, it seems that the pace is definitely starting to quicken...provided you can actually get an allocation (which unfortunately is a different story right now). In any event, congrats!

Okay so just like I expected. I guess not listing the steering wheel stitching is just an oversight on the build sheet. Thanks!

it’s a bummer that if you get the common black leather w chalk stitching interior I don’t think you get the stitching in chalk on the manual transmission. Not sure about the inner ring of the steering wheel.

I ordered the deviated stitching package with agave green stitching on black leather. The build sheet does say that stitching goes on the manual transmission (which I ordered). I also ordered the leather steering column but I am pretty sure that only comes with black stitching.

since one of the interiors includes deviated stitching, I didn’t spec it. But while the deviated stitching option includes the transmission boot, the standard interior w chalk stitching does not. Can’t remember if it includes the wheel. Yours will.

Not. Look at the second picture of the steering column.

Placed a customer order on a C2S last Friday. June production date and maybe August/September delivery? Unsure, but may take a while because I signed up for ATL PEC. Anyone have any experience how much longer PEC adds to the delivery time? From a quick search it ranges from an extra week to an extra month!

Anyways, glad I got that order locked in before the $2K price increase for MY22 with little changes. Now the long wait...

From discussions with my SA, it all depends on their schedule. I was told 4 to 6 weeks is what they were averaging as with COVID they have limited days and times for PEC deliveries. I opted to skip on it as I did not want to extend my wait, plus I'm purchasing from out of state and coordination efforts could be an issue.

I'd say talk with your SA to make sure they work hard to get you scheduled as soon as possible once it arrives.

Congrats and drive in good health!

My C2S is scheduled for production April 16, and for the first time my delivery date just moved up from June 18 to June 11. Small victories are very exciting at this point. Not sure if this is typical, but I hope others are participating in acceleration too!

Long wait (ordered August 2020) but I wanted PTS and dealer was upfront it would be end or March delivery.

Colour is graphite grey. Ala 50th Anniversary.
Truffle with contrast. Wood. 18 ways. 930 stitching. SC delete.

First brand new Porsche. All the time stewing over every options and all the paint samples was worth it.
