Drove this beast home on a Friday afternoon from Long Island, through NYC to NJ. Truly a memorable experience.
car was a blast, even with a manual transmission in traffic. Thanks for the support guys! Wish you guys the best of luck waiting, it’s the best part.

911 Carrera S Manual
I got this photo of my car being complete and "going down one level for testing". This was July 4, 2024. I have since gotten notification that the process is not complete, and wont' be done until August 23, 2024 (per TYD) it also says my car won't be ready for pickup in California until October 31, 2024. My sales associate has no explanation, and neither does the GM. What am I missing? I read on here that the factory shuts down next month. I'm guessing it's been waiting on a part for the last few weeks and has just been sitting there. I have no idea, but am very frustrated. Anyone else in this scenario? All I see is people having their cars loaded on boats and taking delivery. Manufacturing started June 16,2024.

Anyone know what ship might have left Emden on the 24th bound for Benicia? I used the "Inspect" trick others documented here to try and find the ship IMO #, and found the code area I was looking for... except my TYD is currently missing a "currentlocation", and the little car picture that shows where it thinks it is. It says it left the port on the 24th, then no further ETAs listed in the app. I know the Inspect trick on the webpage works because I have another Cayenne in production too and it has the currentlocation at the plant in Bratislava. Vesselfinder only shows the last two days departures without a subscription.

My car left the Freeport Texas port today, and arrived at the dealership as well, that’s quick work of it. Now I have to wait until Monday to lay eyes on my new toy…..
Track Day
why does the GM and sales associate act like they don’t know? If there’s something wrong with it, do you think they’re afraid to say something? I’m sure it’ll get here eventually

Thanks for your insight. I chose ice gray metallic. I feel lucky to get an allocation, so I can’t complain, but waiting this long with no definitive answers is frustrating. Plus, now manufacturing is shut down for a month!
