Delivery day yay! My C2 arrived in Baltimore on the Amethyst Ace 3-30. Arrived at the dealership 4-6 and today I brought her home. Dealership did a nice unveiling and I must say I knocked it out of the park with my build. Deviated 930 leather, Sport chrono/exhaust, FAL, Bose, sunroof, S wheel and numerous other goodies. 26 factory options in all. I've never driven a 911 until today. I have to admit I was not prepared for the noise. Not the exhaust or the engine but the tires! Holy hell that car has a lot of road noise! It's a good thing I'm half deaf and wear hearing aids because driving that car frequently will sure make you deaf. I had a window of no rain to get her home now it's raining hard and not supposed to stop for 3 more days. It was 7 months and 14 days (227 days) from deposit to delivery. I did the European delivery and dropped the car off on 3/9. I logged in to the shipping website and saw it was dropped at the port on 3/14. Since that time there has been one ship between emden and benincia. My question is for people doing the European delivery did you get an email that your car left the port? I'm just wondering if there is any chance my car is on the most recent ship. I waited a long time for the car but now that I have driven it the wait is extremely difficult!

yes, you will get an email saying which ship it’s on. And when it’s EXPECTED to arrive at your local port. Then cross your fingers. I dropped off 2/2 and waited almost 9 weeks to leave port. But I also had the chip delay.
