Now I'm confused. According to the Porsche Sales and Vehicle Management System report, my car is expected to exit Emden on 3/15 for expected date arrival of 3/29 at Davisville.

Are they adding another boat?, because I don't see any more boats on the PWL listing going to Halifax/Davisville this month. Supreme Ace and Siem Aristotle are already gone.

My SA says expected delivery date is on-target for end of March.

I am going to hold my breath until I turn Gentian Blue. That'll show em.
@Keadog Any update in this topic of a delay in Exclusive Manufaktur Interiors? I have this selected in my build and so far no change in TYD production dates.

No. Two additional emails from SA to let me know he can't get any more info from powers above, including one this AM.

This might explain why my car started manufacturing and had paint shop photos posted on TYD back on feb 26, yet status has not changed to production completed since and it's been 2 weeks now. TYD did update the production complete date to 3/29. The only Exclusive Manufaktur I have in my interior is guards red deviated stitching and some race-tex bits.

That's strange. I have guards red deviated stitching in my T, and my car's build started on 2/29 and ended 3/5. It ended up at the port on 3/7. It would be wild if a few race-tex bits were the primary reason for your delay.

Maybe they ran out of thread... But more seriously, there may just be a queue of cars in front of yours, some requiring longer times at Exclusive Manufaktur because of more components installed there. Or it is just random.

I am past my change point (2/29) by 11 days, but it still shows V210 which is still the soft lock stage where a salesman can go in and make changes. I have no changes to make, but I wish it would move along. So far, my TYD has been pretty accurate since my allocation date in November.

Sometimes TYD does work?

I'm wondering about current timelines. Roughly how long after a build lock-in date does the actual manufacture on the production line begin? And then *roughly* how long for delivery to the west coast of the US?

I’m sure the 992 variants and options all play a factor, but this has been the timeline with my T:

12/7/23: Your purchase order has been confirmed

2/5/24: You have reached the Change Freeze Point

2/19/24: The manufacturing process of your Porsche is starting soon

2/29/24: The manufacturing process of your Porsche has now started

3/5/24: The manufacturing process is complete

3/6/24: Your Porsche is on its way to the German port

(Current) 3/7/24: Your Porsche has arrived at the German port

Thanks, that's helpful! So roughly 3 weeks or so from Freeze to production.

My GTS had an initial freeze date of 2/29, but got pushed by 5 weeks. Dealer GM was told it was due to the Carmine Red deviated stitching in my case. I optioned the standard GTS red interior.

Looks like Siem Cicero is on the way to Emden, scheduled to port on 3/13/2024. After departing she’s scheduled to arrive in Davisville on 3/30/2024.

Wow. That would explain why my SA tells me that I’m on schedule for a delivery at end of March. Where did you find this info? The PWL eportal is still not updated showing only the 2 vessels that already left for davisville in March.

in any case, thanks! You made my day.
