TYD tracker shows that my car has reached the port of San Diego. However TYD hasn’t updated to Step 9 “Your car has reached the port of entry”, it still shows Step 8 “Your vehicle has left the German port”
How long does it take before TYD updates once a car lands in its destination port? Thanks!
Exactly my situation! I told my SA that I was willing to Uber down there and pick it up. Haha!

Since I began this journey at the end of July, I have yet to see TYD update on a weekend. Factor in that Christmas is this Monday and the following Monday is New Year’s, I highly suspect we that will not see a whole lot of TYD updates. 🤷♂️
Put down my deposit today for a 992 4 GTS. It will be a while...probably 24 months but not in a hurry since I currently drive a 2019 4 GTS. Here is my build spec I submitted but who knows what it will end up looking like in 2-years!
I have a weird situation that I'd love some insight on.
Below you can see the dates that TYD provided. All evidence suggested that my car was on the Glovis Crystal that moored in San Diego on the 21st and left on the 22nd. My SoCal dealer had this ship in his computer, and I used the hack that I learned on here and the number of the ship matched the Glovis Crystal.
Well....in my dealers computer it's saying that my car is still "on a vessel", suggesting that my car probably missed getting on the Glovis Crystal.
My question is if anyone can figure out the next few ships after my build/emden port dates that might be getting to San Diego in January?
Help! After refreshing that site like a mental patient, it appears as though the info wasn't right at all.

Total guess, but I think it’s much more likely that the dealer’s status is just not updated.
If both the dealer and TYD (hack) both said it was on the Glovis Crystal, I wouldn’t worry so much and just wait for the status to update next week.
The tug ended up taking Grand Neptune into Berth at davisville. Look like Siem Confucius might need to wait until the 28th after all.
Oh well, it is what it is…. Truthfully even though PCNA has my car internally scheduled to arrive at the dealership the first week of January I do not believe that will be the actual case. Port and VPC staffing issues combined with the holidays makes for a $hit show.
FYI, The internal info provided is not via TYD, but the selling dealer.
The Porsche App says mine will be in Chicago 12/26 lol
January 1st for me per TYD and SIEM Confucius still has to travel to Port Baltimore and then onto my final stop at Port Jacksonville. Total pipe dream… So long as the car arrives without any damage I really do not mind the delay, after all it is winter even here in the Southeastern U.S.
Same here. I won't be able to drive it until early spring. Although it's nearly 60 degrees in Chicago today. Too bad when it arrives they'll probably be 2 feet of snow. I just want it safely in my garage so I can ohhh and ahh over it. Merry Christmas

It is nearly 60° here as well. We are 40+ degrees warmer today than we were this time last year. Many individuals are under the impression that the Southeastern states do not get any snow/ice, but we do… of course it is nothing like the Northeast. Nevertheless, because of the potential for either to accumulate many southeastern states also salt the roads. It is a total misconception that southeastern vehicles do not see road salt. That typically only occurs if the owner does not drive the vehicle(s) during the winter months. My 997.2 was cleaned and put away around the first of November. It will come out of storage around late March to early April.
Summer tires also really dislike like temperatures at or below 45°.
