no movement. Tyd date disappeared doesn’t say anything other than next milestone is soon to come.
Have you asked the dealer to check if it was through PDI? My SA sent a text that that was done and the car arrived 2 days later.

sa just sent me a text.
this is my current status.
So it’s still officially in pdi and it’s not finished yet. Sa asked the truck guy who off loaded some cars at the dealer yesterday and he told him that a couple of cars are queued up just waiting for transport.
Sa reckons this week should be delivered.

What does pdi bodywork entail? Just a standard look over or actual repairs?

Just standard overlook because if it was damaged it wouldn’t pass original inspection. Says my sa 😬

If I had to guess this is a due to transit damage acquired while on the ship and it is being repaired. Body shop repair.

if it was then it couldn’t have passed “quality action” so I doubt it. It’s just delays at the port.
just found a past link about the same topic, says it’s a formal thing to go thru so none to worry about, although the op had his car covered with bird droppings at the port so they had to wash and prep the car before releasing the car.

Neither of those two are typically listed unless there has been something discovered.

Ok. So my delivery date updated.

My original delivery date was 10/19. It got pushed back to 11/10. Then it changed again to 10/27. Now it’s changed again to 11/17.

Every step of tyd is riddled with anxiety inducing uncertainty. I wish they would make it more of an approximation instead of finite dates.

I've noticed the LED matrix headlights have a chrome ring around it. Shouldn't that be black?

Just FYI, the ports are not just “ports” they have full factory trained mechanics and full Porsche paint booths. They do lots and lots of work on cars all day. Rest assured if work is being performed, it’s going to be done right.

says someone in the gt3 forum. Well I guess it’s better to be discovered and done right before it gets delivered 😆

Anyone can see Violet Ace with their prime membership? I am still not able to spot it through marine traffic or vessel finder. Supposed to be arriving late afternoon today.

Looks like it's off the coast of Maryland now. You can use Fleetmon to track without an account. It uses Satellite AIS instead of terrestrial like vesselfinder does. https://www.fleetmon.com/vessels/vio...95630_2165653/
