If anyone interested, I had two cancelled orders that are available.
2023 911 Turbo S Cabriolet(Shark Blue on Black)
2024 911 GTS Cab Guards Red Manual(GTS Interior Package)

2024 911 GTS Cab Guards Red Manual(GTS Interior Package)
My 2nd 911 and first GTS is nearly here.
Last year in August, I was fortunate enough to snag an allocation (at MSRP) for a base 992. It was picked up right after Thanksgiving and has been my daily driver since. This year, in August, I called my dealer to be placed on the waitlist for S or GTS, expecting a 1-2 year waitlist and was offered an allocation (at MSRP) for a GTS that same day. Evidently someone else had given up their slot and I happened to call at the right time! Though I wasn't expecting this outcome, I had to take advantage!
I'll be in trading my base 992 (same color) - any sense of depreciation on a 2023 with 7,000 miles? I had purchased the 20k service as part of the deal, so hopefully that helps minimize depreciation. Sticker was about $120k for the base 992 (premium package, sport steering wheel, 26 gal tank).

Hey guys, long time lurker but first time poster here. I've been on a waiting list at a couple of dealers waiting for a 992GTS Coupe allocation for close to two years now. Two dealers have told me that I'm first in line for this next batch of allocations, which were initially supposed to be communicated/allocated early October but am now being told won't be allocated until early November (2 weeks away). I JUST had another dealer reach out to me telling me that he has a 4GTS that's mine if I want it (customer build that's backing out of the deal). It's close to my build/spec, but is missing a few specs that I was opting in for (rear axle steering, front axle lift, 18-way seats, carbon roof, GTS interior package). The car comes with standard 4-way Sport Plus seats and a glass sunroof. And of course its an AWD vs the RWD.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed. Logical me is concerned that the two dealers who promised me that I was #1 on the list may not get an allocation of a GTS Coupe and I may find myself waiting longer than I intended. As a result, I'm seriously considering 'settling' for the 4GTS without some of the components that I would otherwise prefer to have on my build. On the other hand, what's an additional few month wait given that I've already been on the sidelines for two years? And then of course there's the thought that I might miss out on the last gen of non-hybrid 992 GTSs if I don't "settle" for the 4GTS and end up not getting my own allocations.
The frustration is real over here and I'm not sure how to proceed. Anybody else go through a similar dynamic and, if so, how did you proceed? Any regrets? Concerns?
Thank you,
Wannbe 992GTS owner (for now, hopefully)
