Yes, that's correct.

Anyone else on RCC Amsterdam? Currently at SFO, curious to see if it goes to Benicia as well.

Yeah, seems weird that it would stop in the City just to go a little further into the bay a few days later to Benicia. Wasteful? Or is the crew just gettin' loose in SF? hahaha

My gts is on the same boat! RCC Amsterdam is following the track of glovis clipper IMHO which docked at SFO for a couple of days then headed to Benicia. According to the Hundai shipping schedule it should arrive at Benicia on Nov 4. My SA also told me that it’s supposed to unload my car at the port of Benicia. One thing to note is some folks on the forum were mentioning there is an ongoing audit in Benicia which will place a hold for any PDI before Nov 4.

It’s incredible how much information you guys have on this stuff. Cracks me up, but I certainly appreciate it.

I can see RCC Amsterdam from my balcony. SF dealership is just a few miles from the dock. Why go to Benecia? BTW, my tyd app shows the ship is sailing past Tijuana…

Really wondering when it will leave the port. Did you get any estimate from your SA?

Here we go:

What is the typical duration that car sits in port? Any idea?

His system is more optimistic than TYD. I show 11/07 delivery but he still shows it arriving on 11/03. He told me they are in the blind about port stuff and only get the notice that it’s ready to transport. Yours?

He also told me that they do not have visibility over truck arrangements. However, he says usually in a day, car moves out of port. But not sure how accurate it is. Especially, after seeing what people write here.

Im not sure what dealer yours is bound for, but I know a couple people here locally in OKC and has also been mentioned by dealer as well is that they don’t sit around in Houston long at all. 1-2 days usually.

Days to weeks has been my experience - it really depends as they do PDI at the port before releasing for transport to the dealers.
