Read the other 992.2 discussions. A company that sell 50k cars per year of average price close to 200k must do a serious production schedule. It should also do serious monthly allocations with the customers i.e the dealers.

In July the first 992.2 (base/gts) are being produced and will be sent to the dealers. Don’t you think the dealers know about this? Or do you think they will get the info on the 28th and start ordering cars in June?

This is a major operation and everything is handled many many months in advance.
There is a photo of 541bhp?

@silversurfer there is speculation on this forum that .2 GT3 may have 2+2 seating. How much likely is that.

Thanks

More like the 992 GT2 buyers who do not want a PDK-S.

Your typical GTS buyers are generally too price sensitive to pony up the $$ for a 911 Turbo.

@GTS2022 I really do not know but the information should be available since - as mentioned before - it should be launching with the carrera S.

Some sources here in the EU (newpapers, magazines, etc ) are now point to an end of May announcement, interestingly 28 May.
Also the hybrid 992.2 completed the Nordschleife in 7:16.934, which is 8.7sec faster than its predecessor (although we don't know exactly which model Porsche is referring to), I think we're getting closer to the presentation

May 28th is the World Premier of the 992.2 Carrera. Porsche announced this in their press release yesterday.

https://newsroom.porsche.com/en_US/2...ted-36181.html

Also, we know which model they are referring to that just lapped the Ring since the time was 7:16.934 which is 8.7 secs faster than its predecessor. That reference ring time equates to the 992.1 Carrera GTS. It had the fixed Aero Kit too.

I would guess other way around. Every one might be a 2 seater with a 4 seater option at no extra cost. Excl. Gt3 which remains 2 seater. Likewise for all with bucket seats due to certification.

And I bet my **** that every version except base and gt3 be a hybrid.

The only thing we can be sure of is,
a .1 in the hand is worth more than a .2 in the bush.

Enjoy today, worry about tomorrow when it arrives.

a .1 saved is a .1 earned.
and a driven .1 gathers no moss.

I am told by a poster on RL (from the Cosmos) that much "sadness" is coming.

992.2 > 992.1 so much sadness for .1 owners coming - Page 12 - Rennlist - Porsche Discussion Forums

If the .2 Touring is not a 4L ICE engine I guess I'll just cry while I'm enjoying driving my .1 Touring.
