Anyone know the peak db delta between the "quiet" vs loud "versions". I'd like some more power, weight savings, with incremental sound on the street but needs to meet 103bd laguna seca requirements. Asking too much?

From their website...4. Weight savings over stock:
  1. 321 Stainless Steel Muffler version: 10lbs lighter than stock
  2. Inconel 625 Muffler: 22lbs lighter than stock
  3. Titanium Muffler: 25lbs lighter than stock
  4. Inconel 625 Mini Crack Pipe: 29lbs lighter than stock

Inconel crack pipe and Ti muffler are not the same thing.

Inconel muffler is only for cup cars (everyone wants the Ti muffler anyway, and they’re not $5k different. Check the products again)

103dB is possible with Ti muffler and our Ti quiet tips…. Laguna can be a pain with marine layer reflecting the sound down.

It’s difficult to pass sound at Laguna with factory exhaust.

I've had a Dundon exhaust on 5 cars. Great sound, build, quality and outstanding customer service!

quick question, am I missing something with the valve control, I thought the valves are closed in Normal mode and open in Sport or Track mode. What does the Cargraphic controller do that I can’t by just turning the **** on the steering wheel. I have a manual so I can run it in sport mode all the time. Thanks

The valve is controlled by an electric actuator. It’s not a closed vs open valve. It constantly adjusts how much it’s “open.”

In sport mode or track mode the valves aren’t open constantly? At idle when you change from normal to sport the valves open and you hear it, I don’t hear them close again until I change mode to normal. Still not sure how it’s different with a remote control vs changing from normal to sport mode which opens the valves

As Raymort said, the valves are constantly "adjusting" how open they are.
They are not closed in "normal" mode nor are they fully open in "sport" mode. It doesnt work that way..

The Cargraphics Valve Controller (which I recently installed) has 3 modes.
Closed, Open, and OEM via the remote.

Note: I usually drive my car in the "sport" mode with the Cargraphic controller in the OPEN position.

With the controller switched to open is it louder than just being in OEM sport mode?

Thanks Jamie. I went with 18 ways and PDK, getting old! The color is Arctic Grey which is a bit hard to catch the true color.

Here is a thought, let me know your opinions, I would like the most bang for my buck to get a more aggressive sound over stock. I tend to trade cars more frequently than most so I need an easy flip back to stock if need be to turn in to dealer. The dealer probably wouldnt like it if I have chipped out the OPFs, but this does sound like the most economical option, but my thought was if I already have the headers off why not just change the headers out with high flow cats which eliminates the OPFs, for around $4-5k and leave the stock catback. This way I probably pick up at least 15hp as well as get the sound I want. A catback valved system would be as much or more and wouldn’t get much of a HP gain. Has anyone done this and thoughts? This would also be an easy switch back to stock if needed
